The New Codes Are Here!!!!!!!

Yes, as others have mentioned, our room is guaranteed because there are only 2 adults in our party and 3 children. Since all of them are under 18, and only 2 adults, we are "guaranteed" the connecting door, according to the lovely reservationist I spoke with this afternoon. It just made sense to get 2 rooms for less than the cost of a deluxe room. More space, extra bath. . .and since we move over to the Polynesian the next a.m., I'm not concerned about views, location, etc. We don't plan to be in our rooms that much anyway, but we do want to explore the AKL.

I reserved the Yacht Club, standard view room (we needed two connecting rooms), for $254 a night per room including tax. This was a $760 savings over my DC price. I got an awful CM at reservations who told me that you can only use one water park during your trip one time with the ultimate park hopper. I questioned this and he said that's the way it is and always has been, not! Sooo, I made the reservation with him anyway, then hung up and called back. I spoke to Victoria Rose, who was very nice, and she said he was soooo wrong! This package code includes ulitmate park tickets and she told me that we could go to the water parks as often as we wanted to so watch what they tell you. It may not be correct and gets very confusing.

I just booked AKL Concierge for 3 nights in June.

$462.73 a night including tax and 1 extra adult in the room :).

Thank you to Carole (and John) at Dreams Unlimited!

I'm still crossing my fingers that AP rates will be better!

Teresa

Thanks for the info on the new code. I had a DC discount for OKW 2 br villa and saved an additional $200 for a 5 night stay. It ended up being about a 15% discount off rack rates vs the 10% DC discount. Not great, but I've heard that discounts on the villas can be hard to find, so anything is better than nothing! I'm still hoping for a AP discount, but just in case, this makes me feel a little better!!

For anyone concerned about switching rates when you are using a DC discount, it couldn't have been easier. The cm just booked the new reservation under CRO and then cancelled our DC reservations.....
The only bad part is now I have to pay 1 night's stay for a deposit rather than $100...:(

Thanks so much for posting this code! My Dh & I are arriving in Orlando on 5/22 but @11pm that nite, so I booked CBR from 5/23-5/27 with the DC discount. I had planned to stay offsite that 1st nite to save some money. Now that this code has come out I was able to add 5/22 & only pay $35 more! This is our first trip to WDW without the kids, but it is our 10th Wedding Anniversary & I couldn't think of a better place to spend it! Thanks so much for helping us get this great rate! Kathy

I had been waiting for codes to book my room, but I guess I waited too long!

When I just called, there were only concierge rooms available at the YC for 3 of the 8 nights I need! I wound up booking the BC for 3 nights with the code,(to get a standard room) and the YC for 5 nights with a AAA discount, standard room also. ( I arrive on the day the code expires).

It is actually cheaper with the code during regular season than with the AAA code during value season, but we really prefer the YC over the BC and so must many others, because the YC always books up faster!

I guess I'll keep calling to see if I can pick up the other nights at the YC that I need. I really hate to switch resorts too, but hopefully a standard room will open up at the YC!:teeth:

Just got AKL for $166.14/night, tax included for May 17-21. Yea:Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce:

Thanks for the code info! It had sounded like codes would not be released until 2/23, so this was a nice surprise! We had a 7 night standard room at AKL w/DC discount at $1743 (tax included), and with the new code we are now paying $1163 (tax included), for a savings of $580. Yeah!

With the new code I had to decide which deluxe to stay at! What a dilemma, it was hard to decide. It was either AKL, CR or WL.

I finally settled on the WL for May 17-28 for $166 including tax. I booked 3 rooms since we are going with friends.

Gotta love these codes!!! I saved about $720 off rack rate for each room!!

I can't believe I almost missed this new code. I check Mousesavers every day and did not see this listed this morning. I just called and cancelled my DC ressies at CBR for 5/3-5/15 for $1637.76 and made a new ressie with code AXA for CBR 5/3-5/17 for $1623.14. I added 2 nights and still saved a couple of dollars. The CM I spoke to said they have been booking this code since 2/12. I'm surprised we didn't hear of it sooner. Now we wait for the AP rates for a bigger savings. Lets keep our fingers crossed.

Just booked CSR on the AXA code.

Bless you Mousesavers.com.

I asked about an AP rate and she said that it is not availalble today - she said watch in the next week for even more discounts that can be applied to this reservation. She was very encouraging to hope for a deeper discount sometime in the next week both regular and AP. She said the $312.00 at CR should get even better soon.

this code was fantastic. Just applied to our may reservations at the Contemperary and saved 100.00 a night. Now for a standard wing 194.00 including tax. Not to shaby.

Now if the AP's come out in time maybe we will be able to save some more money!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

See you in may.

The CM I spoke with today asked if I got this code from Mousesavers. I told her yes and she just laughed and said they had been flooded with calls today for this code!

I used the code to book CS for my June trip. I had been wondering if they used the codes, and now I got it! I will miss CBR, but CS here we come! 13 nights!!!!

I just saw the posting on Mousesavers right before 9 PM EST. I called and was able to get a standard room at WL :D , but the standard rooms at the BC were all sold out for our time :( . So I have to keep the DC discount for now. I sure hope there are other codes coming out. These codes were more than I was expecting, but I guess all that matters is that we'll be in Disney, so it doesn't matter (although more money to spend on Mickey bars would be nice!!).

YEAH! I have been waiting and waiting, worrying myself sick at this point and wondering how I will get through another week without knowing what my plans are. We have had our airfare, but sitting back on resort reservations waiting for codes. Had our hearts set on staying at AKL, but could not justify without a signficant discount. So now we finally have plans!!

CSR 5/16-19 for $104 ($116 with tax) and AKL 5/19-26 for $149 ($166 with tax).

Married2Grumpy --

You said CRO told you they'd been applying these discounts since 2/12 -- that can't be! I called them on Sunday, 2/16 and asked if they had ANY CODES for Wilderness Lodge. They told me there was nothing.

I'm not doubting your honesty -- just wondering how disorganized that place can possibly be!

Called CRO @ 9:45 a.m. MST and was able to get 1 B at BC Villas for 384.66 (tax incl)/night for a 3 night stay in June. So this code saves me $300 over rack rate + tax which is 20%. Better than AAA so I'll take that any time!

Mary Jane at CRO/WDTC (she works both) was extremely helpful and communicative. Not at all like I expected (Disney polite, correct and tight lipped).

Thanks Mousesavers and DIS!:D :D :D :D

If I'm not mistaking, the CMs will not give you the rate without the code. You can't call and have them search for the best rate for you. You tell them which code you want to use and they'll check to see if they have it for your dates.

I've been told that they have tons of codes. Sometimes it takes a while for us to find out what they are.
