The girls at work were laughing at the new teacher today (not in a mean way!) We were talking about what we were doing at half term and I said we were going to DLRP. The new teacher said she had been there once and then started giving me advice on stuff there. The other girls were giggling so she asked what was wrong. Then they told her that I go so often I became a share holder!

Well with tesco i can order online and not leave my living room lol.

In that case, I'd personally go to the post office.

No matter how secure something like that is supposed to be, I think I'd still rather go and collect money myself. At least then, there's no stress waiting for it to arrive, especially when you're only a week away from going. If it was to go missing, how long would it take to recover and would you get it sorted in time before you went?

I often get my currency from M+S have found they have good rates, but too be honest I usually go wherever is nearest to me.....apart from the postoffice as they have massive queues at all my local ones!!

It comes special delievery and i know Fay ordered hers off there and it arrived ok.

You getting excited Emma? (daft question I know!) - I always get our euros from the local post office, didn't realise you could do it through tesco online!

We have ordered $$ and Euros from Tesco before and they always arrived quickly by special delivery.

I still wouldn't trust them personally. Regardless of the shipping methods, things still occasionally go missing or get delayed for one reason or another - lost, wrong address, stolen etc...

For something as important as your holiday money, I think I'd still rather make the extra effort to go somewhere that I can hand over my sterling cash or card and receive my euros instantly in exchange.

Maybe it's just me though :goodvibes

I have found i get a better rate when i buy Euro's online than queuing up in the PO or travel agent, First choice quoted me 1.9, I'd rather get what i can for my money.

Me too.. I just go with the best rate, it just happens to be online everytime and I've never had any problems.I always do it in advance and like all online purchases you should be covered.

Im with you on that one - I dont think Id trust my holiday money not to get lost if coming by post

I have more chance getting mugged in my area than a item coming by special delievery getting lost.

Well Bob is probably there by now or almost - not that Im jealous or anything

I'll be there in 6 weeks, I can't wait to take my parents on their 1st ever Disney trip!
