Sounds like a fun trip to Germany. I'd probably get lost too! Could you take a taxi? Or is it not that far to walk? If I'm walking somewhere I don't know now I use google maps on my mobile phone!

I'm a bit wary of the roaming data costs when using my iPhone.

I am tempted to take our SatNav with me though, especially as that's free to use. Hopefully someone will bring out an offline set of maps for the iPhone before I go

I'd start preparing that search party if I was you... Take a look at this map of where I went in Brussels... No joke, I got lost trying to walk the highlighted route!

In my defence, I only got lost because I got confused about which exit from that roundabout to walk down, but even so

Ive no sense of direction either and tend to find my way by recognising land marks but thats no good the first time you go anywhere

I want a ticker for our next trip but cant as DD doesnt know and we're not telling her yet. She doesnt read anything on here but often looks over my shoulder and liked looking at our last tickers so would probably spot it.

Wondered about that but not the type of thing we would normally do - shed probably also get upset if she thought we were going somewhere without her.

Id thought of putting one on for my birthday as thats 20 days before we go - so pretty close then possibly changing it
