The New Chat Thread!

Awww, how sweet! Jack and I lived together for the first year of Uni. He decided he loved me after about two weeks, but having had a BF at school I was adament I wanted to be single for a while.

He followed me around for the whole first year like a puppy, but we ere really good ffriends and watched a lot of films together in the evenings and stuff. (Which he has since told me he orchestrated on purpose to get me alone!)

I suprised myself by missing him all that summer....then at the beginning of the second year all my housemates went home for reading week and I was too scared to stay at mine alone. So I stayed over at Jacks...needless to say that was that. And here we are 4 years later, licing together with a furry cat shaped bundle of joy.

I love the church!!! But couldn't marry in one. I very much dislike most religions.

Those dresses are lovely Bob.

I couldn't find a dress I liked so I designed my own. Bit of a sad story here. I had a friend through out infant, junior and high school whose parents my parents were also friends with. Anyway he was a year older than me and we ended up going to the same uni and he was in the same degree class as my DH. His mum was a dress maker but when we were planning our wedding she had terminal cancer. She insisted on making my wedding dress and my bridesmaids dresses. Those were the last dresses she ever made. She died a year after we married.

We got married on the Uni campus where we had met. there wa a small chapel on site - we got married in there and had the reception in the Uni as well.
We had both done RE (mine was a joint degree French and RE in case you're confused with what i said before about the French) and had lectures together so one of the lecturers who was a vicar married us
