My friends who were supposed to be coming over for dinner couldn't. Andrew got stuck at work, IT problems he had to sort, he was not amused!

Oh dear.

I can do one better than that, I managed to turn my assistant into someone who is obsessed by Mickey Mouse and she has never set foot in a Disney park!

I must take pictures of my assistants car. She has 3 Mickeys and 2 Minnies sitting on the parcel shelf, her seat covers are mickey with her name embroidered on them, she has 5 mickey cushions with her name on them, seatbelt covers with mickey gloves on, mickey feet mats, a mickey steering wheel cover and a number plate with minnie mouse on! I did buy her an antenna topper though!!

I think I might see if I can treat her to an overnight stay at the end of the year as a thank you. We have a rough year ahead and I know she will help me out a lot.

Sounds good...

I love Italian, but not Pizza and Pasta, which rules out an awful lot of Italian restaurants, which is a shame. My favourites though are either Frankie & Benny's (not true Italian but still pretty good), or even better is Olivo at Port Solent (fantastic setting and also pretty good food, including lots of fish and meat dishes, as well as the usual Pizza and Pasta).

We've looked at Olivo at Port Solent but never been there. We've eaten a few times at the BBQ place though -Charbar or something I think its called. Love it there coz its so different
