Forgot to quote, but thanks for the help regarding milk alternatives in the grab-n-go.

For the poster who said they'd be there in two weeks, we'll get there on the 20th and I will absolutely check one way or another (even though I think I'll bring some from home- that's the luxury of driving:bitelip:) And the next time I'm on the boards after that I'll let everyone know.

1 week from tomorrow, at this time, we'll be somewhere in the Magic Kingdom!!

:hyper:

Can anyone tell me the closest supermarket to CBR? My DS is pretty juice and snack specific and Garden grocer doesn't carry some of the items. I am willing to take a cab ride on our arrival day but want to have an idea of where I am going. TIA!

You can use the "We Go Shop" service. They'll get specific items for you and you can even specify what stores they're to purchase your order from.

If you come out via the SR536, turn right onto the SR535, and there's a fairly big Walmart literally two blocks down on the right. It's not the best Walmart, but it is the nearest.

What is the best way to travel from CBR to the individual parks? We will have a vehicle if that makes a difference. We are going to be using a cumbersome double stroller so I want to make sure a bus is going to be the most efficient form of transportation before I lug that thing onto one.

You know what makes me smile? Getting the email that my Magic Bands have been shipped :cool1:

29 more days untl my "surprise my sister" trip :-)

I just paid off my trip today. That makes me happy. I felt like forces were against me, just had to pay $1000 in engine work on my SUV and 2 weeks later DH got into an accident in our brand new car. So new they dont stock some of the replacement parts yet which is leading to an extended stay in the body shop. I need a vacation. Next step is MagicBands and Mickey Mail, 56 days to go.

You'll get varied answers down to individual preference, but I say if you have your own car, use it. We did with a double and single stroller and were so thankful, especially when leaving the parks with sleeping kids. I'm sure the busses are efficient for many, but we didn't wait a single minute to get anywhere (I felt bad for the people waiting as we passed them by), and if you get to the parks early, it isn't a bad walk from the parking lot. We didn't use the tram once. You also have the option of traveling anywhere you need to go when you leave the parks without having to stop at your room first, which was nice for us. (We made a couple of extra stops mid-day to fill our mugs and even one emergency trip to Walmart one night.)

I usually pack apples and oranges in my carry on or checked luggage!

Unfortunately we are coming from Canada so we have to declare all fruits and veggies coming into the US. We plan on using Garden Grocer for some grocery times but the apples for example are 1.29 ea and so I just wanted to compare the price of fruit on site.

Is there a charge for parking at the parks if you are staying on property?

Thanks for your help. I looked into We Go Shop and haven't figured out if the extra fees are worth it for what I need.

Walmart is what I had in mind I knew there had to be one close and hopefully they have exactly what I need or I maybe shipping a box.

I appreciate your help!

You may want to take the bus to MK. The parking lot for MK is so far from the park entrance that you must take a monorail or a ferry to get back and forth.

Mind you, the bus stop to get back to CBR is about as far away from the gate as you can get, being no. 42!

Anybody down there now and know what buildings they are working on? Wondering if Aruba 52 is done or almost done.

I rang Disney earlier to try and start making room requests - and you're not going to believe this, but the only refurbishment they have listed for CBR is the currently-closed kids play area!! What the heck?!
