Just got back yesterday. We asked for Jamaica or Aruba but got Martinique 23 which actually was an awesome spot. Right by the bus stop and not far at all from OPR. We loved the resort. The rooms are in need of the refurbishment so I'm excited to see it again. We've stayed at the All stars music and POP before. We will never stay at a value again after seeing a moderate. The resort is very big but we were so close to everything we needed we barely noticed.

I did have to go to the custom house once because I lost my magic band and that was kind of a pain in the butt waiting for an internal bus so I hopped on the DTD bus and got off at Barbados

I am sitting here in LGA waiting for next connection to MCO. Seems like I've been here forever and it's only been a couple of hours. Can't wait to get to CBR later this afternoon. Bit concerned about the heat ( and I shouldn't have read about the snakes estimate I'll be in the quiet pool in whatever village I get by 5:00

I see some folks posting about seeing snakes at the resort. For what it's worth, in all of our 100+ days at the CBR, we have seen two snakes. Both were small and near vegetation and they immediately slithered away quickly. I've noticed quite a few posts on the other resort threads about recent snake sightings so it must be pretty common for this time of year.

By the way, we once saw a snake in the most unusual place....inside of MouseGears underneath a display table of little girl's clothing. Yep, in the middle of the gosh darn store!

We always have Bell Services arrange the taxi for us and it picks us up in the circular drive outside our building.

There are water view rooms in 30 of the 33 buildings so it all depends on what area you would like to be in. We really like Jamaica 45 and Aruba 51. Both locations are a very short stroll across the bridge to OPR and the Main pool. Plus both those locations have been refurbished.

They will give you milk at the refill station for coffee, tea, or hot chocolate. You have to ask for it though. Sometimes they have handed me a small plastic cup half full and sometimes they take the container and pour me some into my refillable cup until I say enough.

Question about the quick-refill station! Is milk available? I assume you have to buy it. Also, is "real" juice available?

Is peanut butter available for free or do I have to purchase it?

Milk was available on the very back row of condiments, left had side as you look at it , close to the coffee opposite end to the mug wash. It was an independent machine & you could pour as much as you required. No free peanut butter as far as I recall. HTH

Just saying hello and joining the thread!

Just got back from a 10 day stay at the Wilderness Lodge, and booked a free dining bounce back at CBR for next August (12 glorious night)! We will be there from August 23rd 2015 until September 4th 2015.

The last time we stayed at CBR was back in 07, so I look forward to staying at our favorite mod once again!!!!
