Today is the day kiddie/zero entry pool is suppose to be closed for refurbishment. For those staying on site this week have you received any notice that the kiddie/zero entry pool is closed? Or seen any sign of construction?
Thanks!

Which villages have been refurnbed already? Will they all be complete by Nov 2015?

Please see post #1 for the most current information we have. The entire refurb should be completed by May 2015.

We checked in on Sunday and are in Aruba 51! Had booked a standard room and we were originally upgraded to a preferred room in Trinidad North, however we wanted a refurbed room! Was assigned to Aruba 51 with a water view! Very lovely room and the beds are very comfy! It isn't crowded at all here but very, very hot!

Is the kids splash area closed?

Question about the quick-refill station! Is milk available? I assume you have to buy it. Also, is "real" juice available?

Is peanut butter available for free or do I have to purchase it?

So 51 is complete? Does that mean they have moved to 52, 53 and 54?

We are coming in to the home stretch and will be at CBR soon (our first ever Disney visit - we are from Australia) I can hardly contain my excitement!!! I cant wait for my little girl to be in shock that she is actually at Mickeys House!!

Sorry I had to get some of my excitement out!!!

I think we are going to be there at the same time. We are busting at the seams with excitement too and will also have a 3 year old with us.:cool1:

Milk is available in small cartons in the refrigerated section. I believe there is milk available for coffee also at the self serve station. They do have "real" orange juice and I think apple juice in "juice box" type containers for purchase.

Not sure about the PB?? Anyone else want to chime in?

What I recall from previous stays at POFQ & POR, milk is not available at the refill stations. I'm pretty sure it's not 100% juice either, it's mostly pop, coffee, hot chocolate. Both the milk and juice can be purchased are available in smaller containers. I don't recall PB. You could also consider having milk and juice delivered to the resort by Garden Grocer. Bottled water is also a good idea to have delivered as the Florida water is not great unless filtered. Think about how much of each you'd consume during your stay and calculate if grocery delivery would be beneficial to you.

We will be there from the 18th until the 29th of October!! We shouldn't be to hard to spot - Aussie accent will give us away!

With all these people wanting to downgrade to a regular room, it's interesting that we can't pay for an upgrade for two families to the pirate rooms. We will ask about pirate rooms when we get there :)

As of yesterday, the kids splash area was still open. Not sure about today (Tuesday) since we spent all day at DHS. I'll check tomorrow and will report back.

Someone was asking about snakes - I have seen several over the last few days, so be cognizant of them when you are here... A few baby snakes on the walkways to the rooms, and 2 larger snakes on the Caribbean Cay walkway (they did try to avoid any kind of human contact).

Thanks for the update! One of our son's favorite things to do is count the number of snakes he sees each trip.

OMG! I will freak if I see a snake. OMG!!! What if one is in my room. OMG!!! I should not have read this post.

I am right there with you lafemmega. Are they poisonous ones or simple garden ones? In all my visits to the world, I have never seen a snake.I like to pretend they don't exist.

Oh god....NO! I will keep telling myself that they don't exist...

Is the Carribean Cay Walkway the path in the middle to get to the main lobby?
