We are taking our first trip to Disney March 28-April 3, 2015. We loved the look of Caribbean Beach for when we wanted some down time from the parks. Now we are even more excited about the refurbishments! Please add us to the roll call...so glad we found this site!

I have gotten pictures of most of the things I was missing but just need a couple more. If anyone going to CBR any time soon I would be forever in your debt if you could provide the following:

Pics and location of the fire pit
Pics of the outdoor movie area

Never seen the campfire area, but if you have pics of the bar by the main pool, that's the movie area. Always found it odd, I'd walk across the bridge and if it was at the right time of night a giant inflatable screen would be setup in front of the lake and you would have to walk past everyone staring at a movie.....every time we've gone it was a Halloween themed movie.

I will try to get photos of both of these areas, heading down in 3 days! I know I won't be around to watch any of the whole movies, but Bolt should still be on around 10 when I get back from Epcot on Thursday night.

It should be no problem at all to grab one of the fire pit, but do you want one of it during the actual fire, or just one during the day for a general idea?

Does not need to be during the actual fire. Just want a picture of it and it's general location. I have heard it moved from the beach behind the main pool, but haven't gotten any confirmation of where it is now exactly or if it really did move.

We are considering CBR for our trip next year. Just wondering are you able to request or choose a village or is it just luck of the draw. We have to small children so I don't want to be furthest away form The food court and pool.

You sure can. Just remember it only a request. The best thing to do is call the main reservation line and add any room requests to your reservation. This can be done anytime from the day you book up until 4-5 days out. All rooms are assigned 2-3 days out so make sure your requests are noted before then.

The great thing about CBR is that every village has its own bus stop and quiet pool so you are always close to one. There are a ton of non-preferred rooms that are a short 4-6 minute stroll to the food court and main featured pool.

Do you have a photo or video of the view from here? I was debating going over to DHS to watch the fireworks from outside the park on our arrival night but if you can see them from CBR I'll save myself the bus rides. There's a whole video on YouTube so I could even play the music for us, lol.

Great pictures! Is there a different movie every night or do they run one movie for a while?

I'm thinking this could be a great way to relax after we check in! We don't arrive until evening and I plan to send DH out with the kids to check out the resort so I can set up some in room surprises for when they return!

Yes there's a different movie every night for a week then it repeats. They change the 7 movies every month. Check out the August movie schedule on page #1 for an example.
