Booked for September 14-20th 2014, preferred room. I hope we get a building with the Queen beds, would make for a much more comfortable stay! So glad to hear such positive reviews about the resort, first stay for the family at a moderate.

Jumping in on this thread, getting excited about our upcoming CBR stay!!

Sept. 30 - Oct. 4 (Plus 2 nights offsite to hit up Universal!)


I would love to see the new rooms, I'm so curious!

My family and friends are going to be there on July 16th, please let all of us know how the new rooms are!! If there are now queen beds, I will be pysched!! If you can post pictures, that would be totally appreciated! My family and friends all love the CBR, and we don't mind how spread out it is.

I was "cautiously" excited about our vacation at CBR in November with one of the main reasons being the double beds. I mean who wants to sleep with a knee in your rib cage and a kid's arm across your face? With the addition of queen beds and a little more room it looks like Cindyrella might actually become "sleeping beauty"! Hooray for the refurb at CBR!

Well, at long last last, the cat is finally out of the bag! Great work CBR detectives. Great to see the queen beds. More darker wood, but the walls are light so that balances out for me. Just have to wait and see what form the extra bed takes. I'm assuming the bedding will still be the latest version as that was pretty recent. Know what? I think I'll miss the silly pineapples topping the bed posts. Go figger?

Add me please. November 8-15th. We are booked in a Pirate room right now and I know that we won't change it because DS wants nothing more than a Pirate room IF we ever return. We are keeping this a surprise. He think DH and I are going to Jamaica to celebrate our 10th anniversary. He tells me everyday about the new things that he wants to do if we ever go back. I am about to burst every time he talks about it because I just want to tell him that we already booked and we ARE going. Seeing all of this talk about the new rooms, I really wish we were in a regular room but this trip is for him.
Our last trip in 2011 we got to stay in a newly refurbed room at ASMo and thought it was great. This is our first stay at CBR but I can't wait.

Wow. It is a good thing Jim posted his pictures, otherwise, I'd still be a troll. Some of you seem downright paranoid. I'm mean really....I'm on vacation, so please excuse me if I don't post pictures during a timeframe that you all see fit. My family is my priority here, not posting to online forums. (I know that some of you get this, so please excuse my rant.) I did post some pictures under professor pi at easywdw.com (where it was reported on May 22 that the refurbishment had begun). Since that site first alerted me to the refurbishment, I wanted to post there first (and they make things a heck of a lot easier to do). Last night, I saw that a new thread had been posted on disboards about CBR and realized I'm probably one of the first people to stay in the new rooms, so I'd share a little info on here. Wow, do I regret that. My kids were sleeping last night, so I didn't take pictures. This afternoon, the internet connection was terrible in my room, so I couldn't upload pictures until I was at dinner. Seriously, I couldn't have 24 hours to post again? I'm sorry that you were upset by the comments made here. It certainly wasn't my intention (nor do I feel as if it were the other posters) to offend you. As I said in an earlier post, there are so many people who are, indeed, trolls who come to the Disboards simply to post inaccurate information, start rumors, etc. I wouldn't call us paranoid though and I wouldn't want you to regret posting.

Also as I said, I did find it hard to believe that the rooms in that building were ready to be occupied by guests based upon what I saw during our stay. When we left Saturday, work was still ongoing on that same building that you are in. The workers must have gotten a serious move-on to get them completed by the time that you arrived.

I normally do not post a lot on the Disboards (or any other forums or even check my emails) while on vacation. Like you, vacations are all about having fun family time. Because I knew that others were interested in what was going on at the CBR I posted way more often than I normally would. I know that before we went, I was anxious to read if anybody had seen the new rooms and checked the CBR thread quite often.

I hope that you'll continue to post on the Dis as you'll find a lot of great people here on the Disboards. I've made quite a few friends over the years that I've been on the boards.

I was hoping for a new room when we visit in Oct but looking at the pics I think I'd rather have the older brighter rooms! Not a lover of dark wood either!! Great detective work getting us a sneak peak of the new rooms!

Requested Jamaica 45 or 46. Standard room. Here's to hoping we will get one of the refurb rooms - and staying in September so keeping our fingers crossed!!!! The rooms look lovely but the queen beds would be a huge bonus!!!

I think I may be unpopular, but I agree with you. We were looking more forward to our first stay next summer, but now I am even thinking about CSR. I loved the bright colors and the old lighting and the pineapples.
