by the way......is/was there music on the opening page of this thread???? Home computer doesn't have speakers...asked for some for Christmas. Actually, just found out when my DBIL built this one for me he didn't put in a sound card. DSis has berated him for this 'oversight' and that will be taken care of also.

Cheeringmom I've never eaten at Cindys, so I'd love to have breakfast there....of course, I'll treat if Laura wants to join in for Birthday Breakfast!

Hey everybody! We're back. Got in around 10:00 last night, in bed by 10:15.

All I can say right now is it was one trip I'll NEVER forget.

We're OK now. I'll write more later.

I have alot of reading to do unless someone will volunteer to help a poor sick girl out and give me a recap?

It's a snow day for DD-6, but DS-11 goes to private school, no break for him.

Also wanted to let you know deadheadbelle is doing OK, her face hurts more than last time she had this surgery, but she's mending and resting.

I'll be back when I can.

Cheeringmom haope that you can get the double eye infection cleared up without a DR office visit.. the flu is terrible around here.. at the Jr High they announce that they have never had as many kids out sick in the whole history of the school.. I think they should close all the schools and disinfect them..

Deadheadbelle Pixie Dust to make you fell better and a chocolate milk shake with whipped cream to help the hurting face.. Chocolate is VERY medicinal and the cold wil make you face feel better since it will be numb..

I wish my posts were as colorful, computer savvy and pretty as Tigger Fans! and Ohanafamily .

About the only thing I can do is add a little color, enlarge font, bold and size, but not all at the same time. I can add a photo but it takes some time and effort. I can do smilies thanks to help here. I haven't figured out the quote thing yet....when I quote, it doesn't say who it it from. ??? I am just not all that and a bag of chips like some of you are.

Good morning everyone. I thought I'd sleep in this morning but was woken to men walking in my house. I wasn't expecting anyone today so I was not happy. (I'm not comfortable dressing with strangers in the house - and no lock on the bedroom door.)

I'm off to finish gift shopping today. I keep coming up with more people to get things for. Luckily most don't need to be sent off. Then there's ohanafamily, I haven't found anything for him yet. And he's no help. Whenever I ask what he wants his answer is always, "Your Love". That's sweet and all, but I still have no idea what to get him.

Hello again. Ella went back to sleep for a while. The laundry is in full swing, 3 1/2 bags are unpacked 1 1/2 to go and I am wiped out. So I thought I would visit for a little while.

Deadheadbelle is feeling well enough to venture out to the grocery store this morning. She's a tough cookie.

Called DS-11 school and told them about our sickness, they don't want him today. So we just have to run by and pick up his history book for his big mid-term exam tomorrow. Looks like Holly will be home again as the snow keeps falling and piling up. She's the one who LOVES school. She got up and was so happy to be going to school today and I sent her back to bed with a pout on her face. Weird kid.

I will probably tell a little about our "experience" every day for a while. One note of wisdom from our travels: no amount of hand sanitizer, washing hands, wiping hands and surfaces down with baby wipes, etc. will stop a virus from getting you in an airplane. I'm seriously re-thinking driving ourselves in the future.

It's so wonderful that the house was cleaned before we left. At the time I kept thinking this is ridiculous, why am I doing all this cleaning. It was an amazing feeling to climb into my big soft bed last night with fresh clean sheets. Pure heaven.

Since I wasn't here when you got back, how was your trip TiggerFans?

Did Rikku have that baby yet?

RRBB, does Ohanafamily have a Pal Mickey? Just kidding, but we do love ours. I think I heard him say he likes fruit cake. Oh yeah and he's really into electronics.
