I tried using Smiley Central a couple weeks ago (or whenever it was [color=FF66CC]llebrekniT[/color] first told us about it), but it put Spyware on my computer.

That's a no-no around here. So I took it off and will just enjoy their smilies when y'all post them.

Thanks for the input! I think I'm starting to lean this way too. It just seems like we'd be able to have more fun if we can get such a low room rate because then we could afford to stay longer and do more stuff...and who doesn't like doing <b>more stuff</b> (not to mention eating more stuff )???

For those of you who are familiar with my job search and future plans (unless you just scanned through all my longwinded ramblings, that is ), I just came across two job opportunities for Starwood Resorts at the freakin' Swan/Dolphin!!!

One is actually on-site, while the other is in their corporate office. I'm going to apply tonight when I get home. I just hope I have a chance. Anyone have any connections?

I'll keep my fingers crossed for you Huggabaloo. I would love to move to the Orlando area. If I could take some (not Nancy pants) of my family with me, I'd already be there. DSIL's hubby works for a soft-drink company and could get transferred one day, maybe it'll be Florida. What do you think deadheadbelle?

I was just wondering if I could pretty please have a new tag since I just reached 601 posts, make that 602 now? I've only been on the DIS since 8/28/03. Smiley Central has pretty smilies on it, but ohanafamily won't let me get their toolbar. He says it loads bad software on my computer called Spyware. I can, however, go to their website and "Right Click" on the pictures to look at their properties, and copy the address and paste it into a "IMG" box.

pattyT, congratulations on the Baby, do you think it will be a Boy, Girl, or Dragon? As long as it is healthy I guess it doesn't matter.

CourtasanSatine, we watched Pirates last night, and it was awesome. Nieceosaurus said that since we watched my movie last night, I had to watch the Barbie Nutcracker with her this morning. It wasn't that bad, but I would have much rather watched Pirates again. I think BLockBuster only charges a couple of dollars for a rental...

I downloaded the smiley central but found that it must have loaded something on my poor laptop bacause it won't work after that , so I deleted it.. Oh Tiggerfans, if you forget it, just buy it!!! More fun anyway!! when you are there, check the Christmas store in DTD. They paint the most beauftiful Christmas ornamanets. Nice gifts for family and friends. Order early. It will take a few days.

Just a quick post before I leave work...sorry no name colors, don't have my print out here.

llebrekniT...I LOVE Cape May, it was a MUST on my first three trips (this last trip was to focus on new dining experiences) However, I can't compare it to Rose and Crown as I haven't eaten there.

Huggabaloo...Go in January! My first three trips (mentioned above) were all in January and the light crowds and low rates make good sense.....especially that you can stay longer or at a nicer resort. Does get chilly at night, I found that just having some gloves and a scarf in my back pack would often do the trick but I was FORCED once to by a Tigger sweatshirt!

Gotta run...my sister had to go to the hospital today, her flu is so bad! Send Pixie dust to Phoenix!

I actually collect Christmas ornaments! Started collecting by accident on our honeymoon ! It's been a lot of fun to pull those ornaments out every year! I'll definitely be making a stop at the Christmas store in DTD!

I don't think I'm going to be able to have a tree this year. We have so much stuff in our apartment, it'd have to be a Christmas Branch! Does anyone have other ideas? I have a cat who'd eat shiny sparkly stringy things and then puke them up.

When I was in college we couldn't really do a tree so we bought pine garlands and hung them on the walls (held in place with needles and straight pins)....then we hung ornaments on the garland. Or you could just decorate your tree with old-fashioned trimmings like strung popcorn or cranberries, candy canes, etc...
