Very true!!! There have been too many times when OSU's terrific season has been spoiled by a less-than-stellar Michigan team that wasn't supposed to win. That's why I so enjoyed the win 2 years ago. OSU wasn't supposed to beat Michigan at all, let alone in the Big House with a backup QB. Just felt like a little payback. It will be very exciting for me tomorrow!

I'm so glad it's the weekend! No school, I miss my kids while they're away.

Ibouncetoo (do you have a color for your name?), so very, very sorry for your loss. Whenever I hear of someone losing a pet, it brings back all those feelings of when we lost our boxer, Moose. They leave little (or in his case, big) paw prints on your heart. It hurts, it really hurts. I hope your heart mends quickly and the memories always bring a smile to your face. It helped us so much knowing that he wasn't suffering anymore. Still miss him so much, but the memories always make us happy. Take your time, one day you will be ready again.

BichonBarb, I responded to your poll. Your question makes me wonder if everyone knows how to correctly pronounce my name. It's lle-bre-kniT - just ignore the first "l" and then it's pretty easy.

DS-11 has basketball at 11:00 and DD-6 has cheerleading at 12:15, across town. Should be a fun day. Trying to decide to see "Elf" or "Cat in the Hat" tonight. Any opinions?

I think computer shopping is fun.. but we are waiting for the Black Friday sales.. usually Best Buy or Circuit city has a computer loss leader at a good price.

I am making breakfast this morning... how about chocolate chip waffles?? and some hot Cocoa for a cold morning,

we are off the see Haunted Mansion this am, I'll let everyone know how it is when i get back..then i need to do the grocery shopping for the T'day feast, I need to start baking the desserts Guess how many will be Chocolate???...French Silk pie, Oreo Cheesecake and then my very famous chocolate cheesecake made in the bread maker.. plus a few more..

It's Saturday... this is normally my pancake day, but I brought those yesterday. Oh well... why not have pancakes two days in a row? Can you tell pancakes are my favorite breakfast food? I only eat them one day a week, however, unless we are on vacation.

CourtasanSatine Did you change your color? ANyway... I love kitties, too. We have two... sweet Tiger, who is a rescue kitty, and Jasmine, a red Abyssinian who is 8 pounds of complete fearlessness.

I would like to suggest a clapping marathon over at the poll to draw the attention of the Tag Fairies. I think it may be necessary. If everyone could just go over there and clap in as many color combinations and graphics as you can find that would be great.

geffric, I thought The Haunted Mansion doesn't open until Wednesday (11/26). I'm planning to take ohanafamily to see it that night for his birthday.

[color=FF66CC]llebrekniT[/color], my vote is to see Elf. I've heard nothing BUT good things about that movie. On the other hand, the reviews I've heard/seen about The Cat in the Hat are very mixed. In fact a local movie reviewer did not think it was a good kids film at all.

Hide your children and run for cover. The Cat in the Hat is a miserable excuse for a family film. Mike Myers plays the popular feline from literature attempting to turn a boring afternoon into chaotic fun. Dakota Fanning and Spencer Breslin play the children and Alec Baldwin plays a creepy neighbor who finds pleasure in threatening kids in this mean-spirited, potty-mouth movie.

The problem with The Cat in the Hat has nothing to do with acting and everything to do with bad writing. Compassion and cleverness have been replaced with double-entendres and vulgarity.

The Cat in the Hat is rated a messy PG. First-time filmmaker Bo Welch directs it. Every frame of his movie is condescending to children and insulting to parents. Dr. Seuss' original book remains magical and whimsical, but this film version is nothing more than an offensive fur ball.

RRBB, first of all thanks for the input on the movies. Why, why, why can't they do movies right? All that money and talent. What a shame. I'm sure we'll see it at some point anyway. Tonight I believe we will see Elf. Secondly, if the there was an award given over at the poll clap-a-thon for cutest clapping, you would win hands down (pun intended). RRBB we saw Haunted Mansion as a sneak pre-view from Disney Club... it Doesn't open until later but as Disney Club member we signed up to get invited to see the sneak previeww..

My kids really liked it, i like Brother Bear better..
