"Will you demonstrate magic from one of your pins?"

If I had been asked that, I would have just used one of my magic pins
to demonstrate. It's not like she was asking Lion to GIVE her one of his pins.

It sounds like she was just asking him to perform the magic for her. I've actually been asked to do that from a new player who had never seen one of the magic pins in action. I don't see anything wrong with her question.

I'm not a host or a CL but I get people asking me all the time to show them some magic or another. It's not problem - I just smile and show them.

If someone has Inferno I usually ask them if they could do it because I like looking at them. I even have a "Random People Doing Inferno Wall" in my Briar Patch Room. If someone wants to see my funkadelic SnowMan magic or other magic, I'd happily show them. Its not like I'm asking for their Inferno or they're asking for my Snowman.
