The Naughty Nuts Redux: Cocktails, Suntan Oil & Barbs!

Just a quick drive-by...I had my first date in 12 years on Saturday night. I don't think it's going to go anywhere. He was nice, don't get me wrong, but we don't have as much in common as it sounded. First of all, while looks aren't the most important thing, his profile says he exercises a lot and is very physically fit. He had a pretty good-sized beer gut for someone who "works out for an hour every day." Then, for a history teacher, he knew nothing about ancient history, except that Cleopatra was Greek (not Egyptian...common misconception). Plus he said he's ready to retire, after only 9 years of teaching, because the kids are too difficult. Another thing...one of his answers online said that he wanted to try skydiving. I mentioned it, and he said, "Oh...I was actually just trying to answer the question." His profile says he can't live without music, but his last concert was Ani DiFranco in 1994. And while we were in the music section of the bookstore, I saw Nikki Sixx's book and got excited. I had to explain who Nikki Sixx was, and he made a face and said, "Ugh." He didn't seem to want to let me leave either...we were there for 5 hours; he was yawning after the first 2. Every time I started moving toward the door, he'd stop or he'd go around and steer me back in the other direction. Then when we finally got out the door at 10:30, he said, "I haven't had anything to eat yet, are you hungry?" I just wanted to go home! He said he'd call, but he hasn't. Like I said, he was nice, but I'm not head over heels here.

And I feel bad about it...

# 1 box spice or German chocolate cake mix
# 1 box of white cake mix
# 1 package white sandwich cookies
# 1 large package vanilla instant pudding mix
# A few drops green food coloring
# 12 small Tootsie Rolls or equivalent

# 1 NEW cat-litter box
# 1 NEW cat-litter box liner
# 1 NEW pooper scooper

# Prepare and bake cake mixes, according to directions, in any size pan.
# Prepare pudding and chill.
# Crumble cookies in small batches in blender or food processor.
# Add a few drops of green food coloring to 1 cup of cookie crumbs.

Faux Clinkers:

Clumps:
# Heat 5 more Tootsie Rolls until almost melted.
# Scrape them on top of the cake and sprinkle with crumbs from the litter box.
# Heat the remaining Tootsie Roll until pliable and hang it over the edge of the box.
# Place box on a sheet of newspaper and serve with scooper.
