The "my child is allowed to pick their nose" parent strikes again!

OK wait- I remember the original thread but I don't remember what happened. I know she sent you the screwy letter- did the principal end up getting involved?

No, I never involved the principal. Mom has yet to make a really big deal of it, so as long as things keep as they are, I'll just keep sending him to wash his hands. He probably goes 10 - 15 times a day. Sometimes I spot check him to make sure he really washed them, but he always has.

It's only grade one, so I'm really hoping that this habit dies before too much longer. Otherwise this poor child is in for a rough ride! :sad2:

can you pass the problem to the school nurse if it continues

Awww, please leave the poor underpaid, overworked, nurse out of this! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

I am a nurse and I have honestly made the father of my patient (baby) go wash his hands before touching him due to nose picking. The look on my face was priceless. He did as I said and then I brought in a box of kleenex for him to use vs. his fingers.

Sheesh, honestly people, it is beyond gross. Please do not pick and flick in front of me either or I will call you on your bad behavior!
