THE MURPHYS are LIVE from the YACHT CLUB ~ May 25-June 1

Doing laundry over by the quiet pool. Not a single person over here swimming or in the laundry room, so it timed out perfectly. :)

What amazing photos of the Nemo show! That show makes me cry! Really enjoying your Live Trip Report. It's the first one I've followed to try to help my Post Disney Trip Depression as we returned on May 4th. I really love seeing your older sons loving Disney with the parents! Mine is 7 and I was soooooo sad to leave Disney thinking he's only little once and growing too fast. Have a wonderful week with your beautiful family!

Just wanted to say I'm really enjoying reading all your updates. I didn't realise HH was so big that you can actually sit at the bar, looks lovely, can't wait to have a few cocktails there in August :)
Enjoy the rest of your trip :)

Haven't done the Nemo show, but your pics are making me reconsider it!!

I have to come out of lurkerville and add how much I'm enjoying your live report!!:cool1: I could not believe the way things got started for you at YC CL. Ugh!! I'm glad that they have tried to make things right for you. What an ordeal! It sounds like you're having a fab time now that things are settled. :thumbsup2 We'll be staying at YC CL for the third time this Aug. I'm really looking forward to returning. Hopefully, all goes well for our check in. Oh, and that comment that the older guy made in the lounge...I was like, seriously?? Who counts food? lol!! You have handled things so well!! More power to you!:thumbsup2

Enjoy the rest of your stay!!:goodvibes

The food at LeCellier looked awesome! We haven't been in quite a few years, we may need to return soon- lobster Mac & cheese mmm :)

We are also going in July. We've been a few times in August but never July.

Have a great time at the YC :) I hope my trials and tribulations don't discourage anyone from the resort, it really is one of the best.

We are on the bus headed back to the resort after a full night at dtd. The kids loved DQ! :) I'm so glad we took the time away from the parks to let them experience it. After it closed we topped off the night with Ghiardelli's :p Is there any better ending??? ;)

Marketplace stop #5 (YC, BC, BW, Swan, and Dolphin) now has a chained off cue line at the end of the row. This was new for us and we accidentally stood at the little booth not even realizing we were supposed to get in line. Luckily there weren't a ton of people waiting so we still got seats on the bus back. But definitely keep that in mind if you need to travel by bus from the marketplace.

We had some heavy rain when we first arrived tonight but it dried out quickly. This has been our only day with rain showers so I'm not complaining. Liquid sunshine, right??? Lol

We toured Splitsville and it is a lovely building, however there is no way I would pay $80 to bowl for one hour. When they told me the price I literally laughed out loud. ;) We can bowl at home for about $3 so I don't think we'll be bowling at dtd anytime soon. Lol

Tomorrow is MK and the arrival of the grandparents to surprise the boys. I think my mother-in-law is the only person I know who spends more time at wdw than I do. ;) They are staying at Art of Animation.

Tomorrow night is our illuminations cruise, we are very excited to experience that!!! :)

I didn't take many pictures today for fear of getting my camera wet. But tomorrow I'm sure I'll have lots!!

Thanks everyone for sharing this trip with our family :)

I like it better than folk :duck:

We like Nemo better than FoLK too! :thumbsup2 (Nemo is the only WDW show that we even do any more at any of the parks.)

Erika, have an AWESOME time on the cruise tonight!! :cool1: I presume the grandparents are coming along?

Also, how long did you spend at DQ? We are going on DS's bday and I haven't been in a few years (when he was too short for a few things). Will 3-4 hours in the afternoon be enough to feel like we got "most" of it done?

Ok, two of you prefer Nemo to FOTLK??? We LOVED FOTLK, but didn't take the time for Nemo......I think it's because of the travel channel show about Disney where the lady Talks to her Puppet??? You know the one? She kind of creeps me out. Ever since I saw that, I have had NO desire to see it.

But you have both changed my mind!!!

That's great to hear about the new boarding line at DTD. I always hated being pushed when everyone wants to get on at the same time.

And I totally agree with you on the bowling price. I found out the other day that it was $20 per person per hour to bowl and I think that's insane. JMHO
That would be $100 for my family.

That's going to be a nice surprise for your boys having the grandparents there today.

Enjoy MK and thanks again for sharing your trip with us.:)

Honestly, I think the A/C of that show is the very best part! :rotfl: We've seen FotLK twice (or maybe 3 times) and now that DS is a little older, he just doesn't care for it anymore (although I'm not sure what age has to do with it! :confused3)

I know the puppet lady you are talking about! ::yes:: I know some folks are bothered by that, but I really like that aspect of the show.

(Sorry Erika, didn't mean to hijack your thread!)

I didn't mention it to the grandparents. I assume they are just putting us on a boat with other people. Don't those cruises hold quite a few?? I didn't ask them.
