The MURPHYS are LIVE from POLY and the CONTEMPORARY (10/21-10/27) PICTURES ADDED!!!!!

A great day at Epcot!! :) got fast passes for Soarin and Test Track...also did Nemo and Mission Space with no wait. Had lunch at food court inside the Land with our counter service dining credits. Spent quite a bit of time in Innoventions, they've got some new stuff. Went over to the old worlds of wonder for some wine tasting (part of the food and wine festival) not bad for only being here about six hours. ;)

Dinner tonight at Chef Mickey's!!! :)

Ok, we are now back in our room. I'm using this free computer (which I am ashamed to say I didn't even know would be here!!) but it won't let me access photobucket or upload pics. :( So I'm probably not going to post the pics off my digital camera until we get back home. I hate to pay $10 a day to hook up my laptop when we can use this one for free. But I can continue to post pics from my blackberry so I'll try to take more.

Dinner at Chef Mickey's at 8:00 .... anybody have any questions??? :)

Hi Erika! I'm so excited to share your adventure to Disney World right along with you. Makes me feel like I'm there too. :yay: I have to tell you that you are a bit of a celebrity in my house. We still have the "Fans Guide to Disney World" taped and my DD and I watch it a lot. It really gets us excited for our trip in December. Sometimes when I ask her what Disney show she wants to watch, she says "How about The Murphy's?". I thought you might get a kick out of that. :goodvibes

OMGosh that is so cool!!!! :thumbsup2 Tell your DD I said HELLO!! :lovestruc

So far nobody has stopped us on this trip... sometimes we'll meet people who like the show but I guess it's getting pretty old now and I don't even think it shows anymore??? At least I haven't seen it on in a long time.

Have fun in December!!!! :)

Wow, I remember watching the Fans Guide to WDW with you and your family in it. You all look very nice and boy have your sons gotten big. Anyways, I am very excited to read your reports. I love trip reports and live ones are even better!!!

It's hard to believe that was 2004... my youngest ds can barely even remember doing the show :( he was almost 3 at the time and now is 7. Time flies!!!! :goodvibes

There are still construction walls up around Chef Mickey's and near the grab and go. But the seating is done, and the places where you pay are done. I didn't hear any construction noise behind the walls. They run to the left of the walkway where you get your picture taken with the big plate. ;)

Just had dinner at Chef Mickey's, food was so-so, but the character interaction was awesome! All the characters spent a lot of time with the kids and we got tons of pics. :thumbsup2 It's a very noisy and chaotic place with tons of crying babies and toddlers, but we loved it. :lovestruc Mickey was great. We got an awesome family pic with him.

DH and the kids are down at the arcade... my boys think they've died and gone to heaven... we may never get them off Mario Kart. ;) The view of MK at night is amazing. Words cannot describe how wonderful it is. The castle is breathtaking from this view. We are just two rooms down from the end of the hall so we're very close. I'll post all the pics as soon as I can.

Questions???

Hi Erika,

I'll be following along. We just missed ya. We are still in Orlando, but at another location. I won't say where because it maybe frowned upon. LOL. ;)

Take care and have a great trip!

Wow, we just saw the "castle dream lights"... awesome! :) I got some great pics.

Now we're just laying in bed watching the castle turn colors... ahhhhhh :cloud9:

Wow, this is so cool, Erika. I just discovered your thread! We absolutely loved your segments on the Fan's Guide, and I'm so glad to see that you still love the World as much and get to travel down there a lot! Looking forward to the rest of your updates. Have a great time!
