We missed the first 10 minutes. Does anyone remember what happened in the beginning prior to her getting proposed to?

Lets see, I think the first 10 minutes are her getting ready for her fashion show. The first scene shows her and her future husband in Alabama as kids, playing on the beach, and he kisses her and tells her he is going to marry her some day. She is dreaming this, then she wakes up and goes to her fashion show. I don't think you missed much, nothing earth shattering in any case.

It also showed during their first kiss the beach they are gets hit by lightening.

I thought it was a really cute movie, Reese Witherspoon is just adorable.

No, it was her and her ex husband when they were kids.

and the lightening part was key to the ending and the business he had.... I liked this movie too...
