I had been a member for 3 years and I just stopped. Honestly, I guess if you can take ALL of their advice, and have enough money to invest in ALL of the stocks they say to invest in, you will do well. The problem is I didn't. You may not either.
So, what happens is that you pick a few. You never know if that is a good pick or not til much later on. Maybe you invest in all of their bad picks. Maybe you get lucky and invest in the good ones.
All that said, I did I make money based on their recommendations. Specifically I made a LOT of money with Netflix. But I also invested in some that lost money.
Plus, once you buy into their investment letters, you will be BOMBARDED with them, and their advertisers trying to get you to pay up for more newsletters. They give examples how $1000 invested in say 1982 in XYZ company is now worth $185,000. Makes it very tempting to take a bite.
Overall, I would say it was worth the money for me but ONLY because I got lucky and hooked into Netflix very early on. Take that out of the equation, and I may not have broken even.
If you get as lucky as I did then you will have thought it worth it. Pick the wrong stocks they recommend and you won't.
God luck, and wishes that you make much $$$$.
