I don't know why but the whole "cheese land" thin cracks me up so much. Lol it's not a country with culture and history, it's a land of delicious dairy products!!! Ahhhh disney, how I love you so.

I don't know how you have the patience to spend that time writing all the trip notes! My TRs would be so much better if I did that. I always try but I can't sit still. I have so many random notes I quickly type into my Blackberry that make NO sense to me when I read them later. Fail!

Oh man, the weekend F&W crowds are totally mental. It was fine for me on Saturday from opening til about noon, but then it was literally like all the people in Disney suddenly appeared in the Cheddar Cheese Soup line. I was just like NOOOOOPE and I left. hahaha. I'm glad you still had a good time though!

Hahaha I have to keep up with it or else it drives me nuts and I know I'll never do it. I want to keep my TR's detailed and the only way I can do that is if I write everything down. Hopefully I'll figure out a good system for my DCP!

Yeah they were crazy. I really enjoyed it, but I would love to go back during a week day.

Chapter 11: Artist's Point and Magic Kingdom with Beckerman!
October 6th, 2012

We made our way back to Future World and we took some pictures with the Food and Wine decorations!

We went to the pin store next. I got a pack of Epcot 30 pins, a Mickey and Friends Trolley pin, a DVC member Minnie Food and Wine festival pin, and a $3 stitch ticket pin!

Then it was time to go back to the room. Bye Epcot!

Then we took the bus back to Caribbean Beach! I wrote in my trip journal, soaked my aching feet in the tub because they were KILLING me, and then we headed out to take a bus to Epcot! When we left the room it was POURING. Again.

When we got to Epcot, we took a bus to Wilderness Lodge for dinner! The rain subsided and there was an incredibly beautiful sunset!

We arrived at Wilderness Lodge and went straight to Artist's Point! The sunset got even MORE amazing!

We checked in and got a buzzer. While I was waiting, I went around and pin traded. I got some REALLY good pins like a Monster's Inc pin from 2001, a little marching Goofy, and a few others.

Our buzzer went off at 7:34 pm for our 7:35 pm reservation!

We were seated in the middle of the restaurant. Our waiter was Keith! He spoke quietly but he was really funny! We all got along really well.

They started us out with some FANTASTIC sourdough bread. It was so soft and enjoyable. I could have eaten an entire loaf! They gave us pesto and olive oil to dip it in which was to die for!

My Mom ordered the halibut and it was excellent. She loved the polenta and the fish was done perfectly.

I got the Filet and the flavor of that steak was INCREDIBLE. This was a fancy dish. You took the marrow out of the middle of the bone and let it sit on top of the steak for a little while to let the flavor seep in. Then you took it off and ate your steak as usual. I'm not even kidding when I say the flavor got better as I kept chewing it. It was absolutely amazing. I was so impressed. Then all the way to the left there was a donut! Like.... YUM! It wasn't a dessert type donut. I feel like there was a type of cheese in the middle? AHH I don't know. It was so good. What a great meal!

For dessert we got the Signature Berry Cobbler! That was SO amazing! I ate it so fast - I couldn't get enough! I made that recipe over the summer from my Disney cookbook. I thought my own rendition of it was delicious, but the real thing was PHENOMENAL!

We really had a lovely experience at Artist's Point! It was such a nice relaxing dinner and the food was unbelievable!

Once we finished eating, I went to the bathroom and changed into park clothes. By the bathroom there was a framed photo of MY FAMILY! I had to take a picture.

We went into the gift shop and I got a long sleeve Disney Vacation Club shirt! IT'S SO COMFY.

Then we caught the boat to the Magic Kingdom. The Electrical Water Pageant was going on so we saw a tiny bit of that.

We got to the Magic Kingdom and Mom left to go back to the room. I went in and met up with my friend Michael Beckerman! He works with Lou Mongello on the WDW Radio show and is also a Guest Relations Cast Member at Disney's Animal Kingdom! We have been friends through twitter and this was the second time we got to meet up! And thankfully this time we got to hang out for more than five minutes!

We met up at City Hall and we were both up for doing anything. We decided to head over to Fantasyland! I wanted to see Storybook Circus since I hadn't gotten there yet!

We went in the store first and it was AMAZING! Not only is it a HUGE gift shop but there's a treat station right in the middle! SO MUCH YES!

There were popcorn pin trading boards too and they were the cutest thing! I traded two pins - a "GO 4 LNCH" Mission Space license plate pin and a Donald holding a balloon pin!

Then after walking all around we continued to explore! The new meet and greet area was open and there were only 15 minute waits!

We met Donald and Goofy in their circus gear! They were both ADORABLE! I loved the theming so much - it was really extravagant! It seems like character meet and greet areas are just getting better and better! This area only opened 6 days prior to our visit so that was really exciting!

Donald is Mike's favorite so he was really excited to meet him!

After that we went to the Dumbo play area to look around. Now when you go to ride the new Dumbo, you get a pager. (like they give you when you check in for your ADR) Then, you and your kids can go into this AIR CONDITIONED Dumbo play area while you wait for your ride. It's literally the most brilliant thing.

We left and went to Pirates next. Obviously, it smells SO GOOD IN THERE. I will say it every time.

After we went to Tomorrowland! We got in line for the PeopleMover but the ride stopped working right before we went up the ramp. We waited about 5 minutes and then we decided to skip it.

So we went on Buzz Lightyear instead! We did pretty well! No where close to 999,999, but not terrible!

Then we went back to Adventureland! I was going to get a Citrus Swirl (because I still haven't yet!) but Sunshine Tree Terrace was closed.

So we decided to go on the Jungle Cruise! Our skipper was Rachel. She was alright but she sounded very scripted. Not the funniest, but you know.

After we got off and decided we wanted food! Beckerman wanted corn dog nuggets from Casey's!

Then we went to the Main Street Bakery. I was just going to get something small.... but they JUST brought out a whole new tray of Cinnamon Rolls. I'M SORRY BUT I COULD NOT RESIST!

My Cinnamon Roll was absolutely INCREDIBLE. The entire thing was so soft - not one bit was dry! Beckerman ate like not even 1/4 of it and I ate the rest by myself. Yes, the whole entire thing. Not a crumb was left. I have no idea how I can physically eat so much.

We left the park after that because it was after midnight! We said goodbye and went our separate ways! It was so nice to see Beckerman and I hope I'll see him a few times when I move down to Disney!

I took the bus back to Caribbean Beach after that. I called Preston during my bus ride home because I was all by myself. I got back to the room, organized my pins, and went to sleep around 1:30 am!

AHH that’s the same Prince Charming my mom and I met at 1900 Park Fare in July! He’s a cutie.

Flynn Rider is so amazing. I want to meet him so badly!

WHAT Dr. Facillier looks awesome! His fingers are insane!

Boo to You is my favorite parade too! I love it even more that MSEP, which is saying something, because we all know how obsessed I am with that parade.

Hahaha at the wine guy in line for Belle, but really…you’re definitely better than the “real” one!
