ok now I'm officially lost.

Something about a dirty dozen

Liesa's giving away kids.

I'm assuming Liesa is including shipping if she's giving away kids.

I think we've got a couple of discussions going on. We're working on a DISMeet on her thread...that's where the dirty dozen comes in. And then we have another discussion of getting beaten by your kids at games....that's where she's offered some up. If she is, I'll take the one that likes to bake.

This may be tricky though. I'm only there on a Monday, Tues, and Wednesday. (Aug. 30-Sept. 1) I fly out of D.C. on Thursday. So, this will have to be a weekday, evening thing, so ya'll don't have to miss work. OK, let's keep it on my thread, or folks are going to be really confused.

If you're having trouble following the threads, I'll take your trip to Mexico while you stay home and get caught up on them. It's the least I could do.

Since I know you won't take me up on that offer...I saw you post somewhere that you plan on doing a little TR on that. Please make sure you give me a heads-up. Heck, pimp it here.

It's looking like a few of us are going to try to get together somewhere around Washington DC sometime Aug 30, 31, or Sep 1. Liesa (All7OfUs) will be moving from one-of-the-Stans (eastern Asia) to Washington state, and will be visiting her sister outside of DC around those dates.

It's really not that tough, with all the embedded clues I've given. But ever since they took away my Blog access, I've been more careful about being so open.

OK, I'll really try hard to get it up tomorrow!! It's such a pain to go "in through the back door" as TOR is so slow!! But, I'll try! The best part is coming up. (as if it could get any "worse")

Quick life update....Judy got the job! She accepted it today.

She's now a full-time high school math teacher. It'll increase the hecticity (my own word and sure to catch on, I'm sure) on the home-front, but it'll be good. She's been loving subbing for this particular position for the last 3 weeks, talking about her "kids" (the students) when she's been home. She's stressed, but enjoying it.

Edited to add: I almost forgot. When she interviewed, at the end, she said "Oh, I have one thing I need to tell you". And the HR person (whom Judy had never met) said, "I think I know what it is." And Judy told them that she couldn't work past June 11 due to a paid vacation that cannot be moved. The HR person said, "I knew that. I overheard you mentioning to someone else that you were hoping for no snow days due to a vacation you had. That speaks to your character that you're telling us now." And they said that it won't be a problem.
