OMG! He is the perfect Jace! What is he from?

I have no idea! I have seen him being recommended in MI sites.

I pre-ordered it for my daughter. She is a major fan of the series. I posted the picture of her choice for Magnus Bane a few posts ago.

I love that Magnus... One of my favorite descriptions of a character was of Magnus.. something about him looking like Sonic the Hedgehog and wearing clothes like the child catcher from Chitty Chitty Bang Bang.

Now you have to understand that the child catcher scared the living BEJEEEMIES out of me as a child. To the Nth degree. I don't think I was more afraid of any other character in history (until Freddy Kruger). EDIT: and maybe the Wicked Witch of the West.

and I like this outfit idea, too... this is the child catcher on stage somewhere:

I think Alex Pettyfer should be Jace...

I think he's too skinny. I'm going to think on it.. I have a terrible imagination. I'm going to try and find somebody to put my Jace thoughts to. For me, Edward was always James Franco-esque.

This guy has backbone.. THIS Guy is a warrior. This guy could be a JERK and still be hotter than hot. That other Pettybone dude looks like a frail vampire type. He's definitely NOT a warrior.

Of course this guy is probably too old for your tastes but that makes him ALL THE BETTER for me.

You can tell by his eyebrows that he could easily "golden-up" his swagger. And in his "younger days" he has alot of pics of himself as blonde. TOO YOUNGER days. ::rollseyes::

City of Ashes: I'm giving it two stars. I didn't want to smack it at the end but I didn't love it either. I think I was still pi**ed at book one. Jaded, if you will.

well, i finished book one. i'm not impressed. being that i bought book two, i'll probably read it instead of returning it.

i must say that i'm glad i'm not clary. i would have definately jumped jace's bones long before finding out he was my brother, ick!!

That person did a GREAT job!

However, I think the cast was picked due to the ease of proximity to each other. In other words it looks like several actors have starred together in things that the fan who made the movie could piece together that would work for this trailer. But alot of good choices, none the less.

I am adament against Pettyfer. He's entirely too girly-mahn.

I'm moving on to Scott Westerfields "Peeps" right now. I'll KIT!
