The Moist Exhausting Free Trip Ever - Link to Part II Thread pg. 244

I can see it now - The Upper Class Twit of the year parade :thumbsup2 Fun for all ages! :rotfl2:

Can it be followed by a sampling of the Ministry of Silly Walks? Pretty please?

Edited to add: see - this is why I should read before replying - You've already beaten me to the idea!

Nice Monty Python reference. I am teaching a theatre tech course at our local high school and not one day goes by without some sort of comment from The Holy Grail.:happytv:

Hey D.Jay! My teenage daughters have started to make some Holy Grail references too. They haven't seen the movie, but I think they've seen some scenes on Youtube. I think Monty Python skipped a generation and is now getting picked-up by the Youtube kids.

I know that would be a factor (in the positive direction) for a trip planned for our family.

Okay, that's another "yes" vote!

Not really. Just have a MPEEMHP. Monty Python Extra Extra Magic Hours Party. This party, because it would be in the extra hours of the night would be rated pg-13 or higher.:rotfl:

I'm glad you wrote out what the acronym was for! Are you sure you can't arrange them to spell-out PEEP in the middle?

When will I learn to stop listing names?!
Dumb.gif

Just go with a different subject and mention names (different ones) for that! Everyone's special for something.

I have a feeling once he does his big reveal, we won't be so honored....

;)

No worries mrp4352 -- especially when you agree with me! I'd love to see a parade featuring the Ministry of Silly Walks.

And, I do believe this is your first post here....that gets you a :welcome:
We have quite a contingency from Texas!

:rotfl2: You have gained some experience in your years! There are some lists it's better not to be on. Only time will tell if this is one of 'em. ;)

I'm so sorry, Cherie!! What a blow to so many people's livelihoods!! I try to follow it best I can, and I'm sure I'd be more up-to-date if I was seeing it on the news every day. :guilty: Let us know if there's anything we can do.

It's okay right now. Just hope it doesn't get any worse.

Monty Python Extra Extra Party Magical Hours.

How's That?:cutie:

Does that mean we will have a peep meet during the week with the Knights that say Nee?

Also, don't you think is too much of a coincidence that glennbo123's threads attracts so many Monty Python's fans? :rolleyes1

Nah, no coincidence. Only the most sophisticated are Python fans :snooty:

Well, I noticed your comment more so than Glen's because yours was at the top of the page ;) Parade of Silly Walks would be hilarious!

We grew up in towns east of Erie, probably about the same distance as you were from Erie, but closer to the New York state line.

My parents live near the Poconos now. I grew up on LI and we used to vacation in the Poconos every year.

As for Monty Python, my kids love it. They used to quote most of the scenes already mentioned and sing Knights of the Round Table. Fun times.

The cap seems to be kind of working.

I guess it'll have to do!

Maybe the Knights who say "Peep"!

Can't argue with that.

I hope you're not just skimming my posts and replies! :sad2:

Oh yes, but it would take forever to finish... that would be a good opportunity to ask the classical question "What time is the 3:00 parade?" :confused3 :rotfl:

You are so right Tribilín. "What time is the 3 o'clock parade of Silly Walks?"

How can 4 hours go by from the last post and then you ninja post on me Poolrat?

I've been to the Poconos a couple of times, but it's probably been almost 20 years since the last time.

Monty Python stuff is sooo quotable. That's part of what makes it fun.

What a great morning for you and James!!

Ahh - The Streets of San Francisco! I definitely remember watching Karl and Michael so I guess I must have been old enough to stay up!!

Chewbacca's hands are HUGE!!!!!

I love the Jordan tribute pics!!

Star Wars doesn't really excite me (well... except for Darth Maul of course;)) however a Monty Python Weekend? Now you're talking...:thumbsup2

That definitely would be cool.

Catching up...yet again. It seems to be the story of my life! ;)

I :lovestruc the old Star Wars movies, but am not sure I've actually watched an entire new one from beginning to end. They're a whole different vibe. However, I'm with the other ladies on this one: the dark side is looking WAY better than I ever imagined, and I may be tempted to watch the entire movie next time it comes on! Tee hee!

I've never seen Monty Python. :confused3(Please don't kick me out!)
