Nice Monty Python reference. I am teaching a theatre tech course at our local high school and not one day goes by without some sort of comment from The Holy Grail.

Hey D.Jay! My teenage daughters have started to make some Holy Grail references too. They haven't seen the movie, but I think they've seen some scenes on Youtube. I think Monty Python skipped a generation and is now getting picked-up by the Youtube kids.

I know that would be a factor (in the positive direction) for a trip planned for our family.

We grew up in towns east of Erie, probably about the same distance as you were from Erie, but closer to the New York state line.

My parents live near the Poconos now. I grew up on LI and we used to vacation in the Poconos every year.


As for Monty Python, my kids love it. They used to quote most of the scenes already mentioned and sing Knights of the Round Table. Fun times.

I've been to the Poconos a couple of times, but it's probably been almost 20 years since the last time.

Catching up...yet again. It seems to be the story of my life!

I the old Star Wars movies, but am not sure I've actually watched an entire new one from beginning to end. They're a whole different vibe. However, I'm with the other ladies on this one: the dark side is looking WAY better than I ever imagined, and I may be tempted to watch the entire movie next time it comes on! Tee hee!
