The Moist Exhausting Free Trip Ever - Link to Part II Thread pg. 244

Enjoyed your last update very much! How fun that you got to meet up with Candi and Dan. They are such a cute couple.

The show looked like SO much fun! What a hoot that Bob fellow is. I would have loved to have seen the show. Maybe I can work it in for our next trip. :goodvibes

Can't wait to see what a hung-over Mr. Potato Head looks like.

Not only Disney food... but the eventual spilling over into every day life. I was at the Keg a couple weeks ago and when they placed the plate of food in front me, I thought to myself "Hey, this would make for some great food porn -- oh wait, it's not Disney" :rotfl: And I wouldn't call it strange.... just "special" :rolleyes1

When my kids use to go to camp I would give them disposal camera's and the only always had pictures of her food. I thought that was a little strange and that was way before the dis. Why take pics of friends when you can remember your breakfast.:rotfl:

That's a required freshman class isn't it??? ;)

Sadly, yes.

Never let it be said that Glenn didn't do the least he could do......(Sorry, you're the one that said less Dennis Miller and more 3 Stooges)

Right. I can always be counted on for at least the least.

Some more than others......

eh, hem, hmmm.. are you talkin' smack, Marv??

Talking?? Smack?? moi??? I know not of what you speak...:confused3

Trouble was, Liesa, I didn't know if he was referring to you or me or Magdalene or who exactly? Probably all of the above.

Oh, thank you. Yes, I followed Dan and Candi (and Parker!) on their TR last year, so it was neat that our trips overlapped this year and we could meet up.

It is fun. He's there 4 nights a week (Wed-Sat), usually. Unless he's got a gig that takes him out of town.

Can't wait to see what a hung-over Mr. Potato Head looks like.

You will, you will! ;)

that glenn he goes above and beyond the call.

Never let it be said....I don't know what...kind of ran out of steam there. But, there's probably something to never let be said.

anything for a friend, and fellow bud light lime fan.
:drinking1

I keep meaning to run out and buy some, but haven't gotten around to it yet. Now Dogfish Head on the other hand....I haven't bought either. But I definitely would.

That's hilarious! My daughters always come back with pictures of themselves and friends just being generally goofy. Close-up pictures of themselves making funny faces or dancing around or their stuffed animals.

Seeing as we'll probably end up at POR at some point, being a family of 5, we will definitely have to go see Yehaw Bob. It looks like a blast! And my kids would love it. Gotta wait till the youngest one gets just a little older...

Great that you got to meet up wtih Dan, too.

On the subject of kids and cameras...when my oldest DS gets a hold of the camera, we end up with lots of incredibly unflattering pictures of loved ones. :rotfl2: I have a few going up on my report as soon as I can get it posted...good thing my mom isn't on the DIS. :rolleyes1

I highly suspect it was all of us, and solely for the sake of talking smack- that's why I was non-specific.

You made me have to go back and see what shirt I was wearing. Actually, I could do a whole trip with different colored shirts with the same logo. I got involved with this charity event about 7 years ago through Boy Scouts since that is one of the charities they support. I have been a walking scorekeeper each of those years, and the shirts change color each year, so I have quite a variety.

It is a lot of fun, I get to see some good golf on some beautiful courses, good exercise since I have to walk with a foursome/threesome for four straight days, and sometimes I get put with one of the celebrities. For you LOST fans, last year I was with the group that included Terry O'Quinn, who played John Locke on the show. What a nice, and fun, guy! :thumbsup2

Sounds like a great event - even though I hadn't realized that it was a shirt from a charity event, but this makes it even better. My comment was more about the BMW sign on it. Which stands for Bayerische Motoren Werke (Bavarian Motor Works) and the blue and white are the Bavarian colors. When you all come for that Oktoberfest trip, you can take a detour to the BMW museum in Munich which is actually quite neat. ;)

And this sure ups the ante!! Now I have to think about clothing for our DISMeet. I can only how imagine how rumpled I"ll look when I meet you, having to use "suitcase" clothing. LOL!

Since we all know that you go hiking in stylish blouses, we don't really believe that you would ever look rumpled! :goodvibes

Talking? OK, you got me there. You were typing. Smack? Yes, Moi? ditto- yes.
What do I have to do, pull out an easel and paint you guys a picture??? :sad2:

Yes, Disney needs to do a little more for those families that don't fit the 2 adult/2 children mold. They have rooms for 5 when you have small children (bunk beds, trundle beds) but I guess they don't expect them to ever grow into older/larger kids.

Jen, good news! I emailed your Mom and she's joining the DIS TODAY! :woohoo:

German lessons, photography lessons, history lessons, and NOW automotive lessons! There's just no end to the education here on the DIS! :thumbsup2 Actually, we have a BMW manufacturing plant here in South Carolina, which is the reason behind the charity golf sponsorship.

Note to self.....must upgrade passport and order airline tickets! ::yes::

Yes, even water sliding brings out the stylish look. :cool1:

dont worry, i got some at home i will drink up for you:thumbsup2

I've fallen completely behind again. I'm blaming it on the fact that I couldn't see very well with the severe eye allergies I've been suffering from for over a week. I feel like a walking Claritin advertisement just waiting for someone to rip away the fuzzy film! Now it's starting to migrate downward into my nose & throat, so this is how I feel

Thank you for the tag fairy info. Sounds like fun!

My whole family had matching Hawaiian outfits like Dan & Candi (except in purple) & a portrait hanging on the wall to prove it! We lived in Hawaii for three years and never once went to Hilo Hatties. I saw the tour buses there & figured I shouldn't be. :lmao:

That was a total accident!! REALLY, I swear!! I didn't know it was a REAL hike. I guess I thought there'd be a trail and not bushes up to my waist. If you only could have seen the bottom half that was soaking wet and all grass stained. :lmao:

:rotfl2: Easels ARE the stylish thing, Marv. Hadn't you heard that yet??

I admit, I was totally stylin' in a 40+ something old kinda way on the slide. :cool2: And naturally, my teenager was mortified.

Oh, well thanks for that tidbit! You're only about 24 years late with THAT insight!!! :sad2: Of course, with three years experience, you had ample time to avoid that "snap judgement" scenario.

Yes, but the details are still a little sketchy!!! :)

I know exactly what you mean. :thumbsup2

Okay, okay, except for it's 50+ something old kinda way (but just barely, mind you), and I really don't do stylin' on the slides, and I take the shades off before I hit the slide. Other than that it's EXACTLY

It's nice when you're at POR....you can just walk from there to your room and hit the sack. No buses to deal with!

Great that you got to meet up wtih Dan, too.

Oooo, unflattering pictures appearing soon on your TR -- you really know how to build anticipation! I can't wait!

I highly suspect it was all of us, and solely for the sake of talking smack- that's why I was non-specific.

I think you're right. Marv wouldn't leave anybody out.

Talking? OK, you got me there. You were typing. Smack? Yes, Moi? ditto- yes.

Yes, gotta be specific.

Yes, it's what all the stylish hikers are wearing this season.

I think the new suites they recently announced should help with this.

Oh good. I feel better already.

Sorry to hear about that. Doesn't sound like fun at all.

Thank you for the tag fairy info. Sounds like fun!

I'm sure it is, but I've never received one.

I admit, I was totally stylin' in a 40+ something old kinda way on the slide. :cool2: And naturally, my teenager was mortified.

Mission accomplished!

She told you as soon as she could...you never mentioned it until now!

Yes, but the details are still a little sketchy!!! :)

That was rich! :lmao: Sketchy. I love it!

I'll bet you are a stylin' kind of 50 somethin' kind o' guy. Try it with shades some time. Then tell me what your kids do. :rotfl2:

Yes, you certainly have me pegged! :cool1:

The mortified kids was the part that was left to be exactly like you! I don't need the other stuff to get them to mortified, they already get that way whenever Dad does anything that draws attention. (not that I ever do :rolleyes1 )

Sometimes I wonder if it's simply my very existence.
