Florida Sun Vacation Homes. Anyone have any knowledge of them? Good..or bad!

Us too! We're going in 18 days. I read one bad review last week about one of their condo's being dirty. But I also read many good reviews and other's came to their defense and said they were on of the good MC around. I guess we'll find out.

As new owners of a Windsor Hills home (since December), we did months of research to decide which management company to use. There are a TON out there. We chose Florida Sun Vacation Homes because they stood out to be the best for owners as well as renters. We have been very pleased with everything they have done so far. I heard from a guest that stayed at our home last month and she said everything was "perfect" in the home. My brother also stayed there and found it to be spotless.
Hope I'm not sounding biased, but we did our homework before signing with a management company.(We live in Pa and have to trust them!)

thanks!! i am going to give them a call because in the information from the owner it dosen't say if things like trash bags, paper towels, etc are already there or if we need to bring them. I buy all of my own stuff like that at BJ's so if I'll need to bring it I'd rather bring it from home.

thanks! i just checked and in case anyone else is wondering here's what they provide:

1 roll toilet paper
small handsoap per bathroom
2 kitchen garbage bags
1 dishwasher tab
small liquid dish soap
1 sponge
1 roll of paper towels

so, we'll need to bring some stuff with us. 1 roll of tp isn't going to last from monday till friday with 5 people using it, lol. ditto on the paper towels and 2 trash bags. at home, i take the trash out once a day.

Ditto to the kudos for Florida Sun Vacation Homes. I'm a homeowner in Emerald Island and they've been wonderful. The house is well kept and always very clean.

Regarding the care package that they provide, that's just to get you started in case you arrive late and don't have time to go to the store first. Before we bought our house, we rented homes not managed by FSVH and those only included toilet paper (none of the other stuff).

Since the homes are self catering, you'll end-up going to the store anyway for food, etc. and that's when you can pick-up the rest of the consumables that you'll need for the rest of your stay.

that's how we feel too. i'd rather know now what we need to be prepared

Yes, they were the MCs for our rental in March and we thought they were fantastic (no problems with the home -- we had to arrange to stay 2 extra days, and also couldn't figure out how to turn on the air hockey -- they were great).
