So it was a slow day at work today, VERRRRRY slow, and I have successfully read this ENTIRE thread starting at page one and finially making it here now!!

I just wanted to say how great this TR has been so far! You and Tim are a spitting image of my DGF and I, it's almost scary! we're even from Jersey!

I've got DGF hooked, so we'll be waiting for more updates!

Aww really? Too funny! That's cool you both are from Jersey. We're from Burlington County, like 10 minutes from Philly.

Love the TT pic...Tim's face is too funny and so are the people behind you guys...how do you know where the camera is to pose...you always look cute!!

I love seeing the other people in ride photos. They crack me up LOL! I have no clue where the camera is actually. They take your picture as soon as you are about to crash into the wall.

HAHA the only other trip is in Jan. I wish we had another one this year. It's tempting. But hey, Jan is only a couple months away.

So glad to see that the travel-tripod worked out for you. So much for all of those nay-sayers that thought we were crazy for telling you to get one!!

Great shots of Illuminations, love the colors in some of them. Next time, you should try keeping the little tripod attached to your camera while you walk around the WS. If you set it up on a ledge or trash-can near where you want to take a picture, you would be amazed at how sharp and clear the shots you will get are. One other suggestion for the crooked pictures would be to get a hot-shoe level. It will slide into the slot on the top of your camera where the external flash would be and it's like a level you would use in the house (just really small) and you look at it to make sure the camera is level before you take the pic. Small, inexpensive and saves a lot of time straightening the photos in post-processing.

CAN'T WAIT to hear what you have to say about the KTTK tour. I gave my mom a voucher for Mother's Day for her ticket for our trip in December . We're planning on taking the 8:30am tour to get a second chance at an empty Main Street.

Following up on this---I meant to add, did you take any shots of Wishes? I remember seeing a handful at some point and know you went to MK already, but wanted to see if there would be any more fireworks shots coming up in the TR??

This is something that even I have yet to try out (it's not too often in NJ that they have formal fireworks) and I'm excited to see from your pictures that it should be relatively easy once everything is all set up!

You are updating like crazy! I just caught up after being out of town for a few days for my SIL wedding. You probably already answered this somewhere in your PTR or TR, but I couldn't find it. How did you get such an amazing picture with so many characters? I love the idea to mat it with all of the signatures.

Thank you so much for all of your advice. I wanted to have time to set the tripod up and take pictures of each country but I forgot and ran out of time. I was in a rush to get to DTD so oh well lol. There is next time!!

Love the pics of illuminations! Very awesome! Sometimes if dh can't stand still enough he'll use my shoulder for a tri pod...it works alright b/c i hold my breathe, but this past trip he used trash cans a lot with the timer set if at all possible...we have a tri pod but its rather large so we don't tote it around...we had it with us though so we could of taken it. The boardwalk pics are pretty too. We need to make it over to the boardwalk one time...we've never even seen it. Tragic I know. Lol. Did you end up buying anything at DTD? Or were you just shopping around?

The hot pools. I remember that. Last July, I loved taking a swim early in the morning at POR (one of the quiet pools). It was so relaxing.
