CONT... Finally sorry

Alright I think I left off when we were practicing using the segways. When we were practicing going up the hill, I of course hit the cone haha! That was the only time though. Tim was cracking up haha.

So after you practice, they take you out. You first stop in the building where character spot is for a potty break. After that, you go and explor World Show Case. When you get yo each country they tell you some stories about each country. They also have you do little challenges like in China, you go through the garden.

When you hit Italy that is when they take your pictures, and they give you some free time to ride around on the segways.

I was stupid, and wore those cute uncomfortable flip flops again. That was the day my foot got mad at me, and said ENOUGH lol! The whole time during the tour, I had to keep lifting my foot up, I could not put pressure on it.

After Italy they take you through America, Japan ,Morocco, France, and The UK. We didn't do anything in Canada.

People say that the tour is not long enough, I thought it was perfect. I was ready for it do be done though because of my foot. Tim was sad that it was over, and he wanted to do it again haha. Oh the pins you get in the tour are really cute.

After the Segway tour, we got some breakfast at Sunshine Seasons, and grabbed a FP for Soarin.

I had the breakfast platter, and Tim had the croissant, and of course, his strawberry shortcake lol.

I love the eggs and potatoes from there.

Breakfast was good, as always.

We had some time before Soarin, so we went on Living With the Land. Tim had not been on it yet.

I didn't take many pictures this time lol, but I did take a picture of one of the CMs working.

Tim wanted to check the pin book in guest services next, so we went there. When we got there, the CM who helped us said "Happy Anniversary!", and asked if we had been on Test Track yet. We told her no, so she gave us another FP LOL!! Sweet! She was so nice.

It was time to go back on Soarin.

SWEET, we got to be in row 1.

I love going on Soarin with people who have never been on. I love all the Oohs and Ahhhs lol. Makes it fun.

We were thirsty when we got off, so we went to Club Cool.

Grabbed two cups. One with Kinley, and one with Smart LOL.

We figured we would go to Test Track, then go to the Boardwalk, and get our cake.

On the way to Test Track, I stopped to take pictures in Pixie Hollow. This was beautiful!!!

This was too cool!!

SO pretty in there!! I have to say, this year's F&G Festival was just beautiful.

Time for some more Test Track.

I got to be the driver this time haha.

After TT, We made our way to Canada. I had not been to those countries yet, so I figured we could go to the Boardwalk that way.

We stopped for a photopass picture.

World Showcase was not busy at all. It was so nice. First we hit Canada.

I love this little cottage. They actually use this as a tool shed.

The UK, I was hoping Alice would be out, but she wasn't. Oh well.

France is beautiful from across the river.

When we got to SBP, there was no wedding going on. I was hoping to catch one, but it's ok.

The view is gorgeous.

Here is the bakery!! I was so excited to get our cake!

When you go inside, the smell in there is so good!!

While they went and grabbed our cake, I got to watch them make a cake.

They never charged us for the cake. The baker told the lady at the register that it was taken care of. Ok cool. I wasn't expecting that at all.

It was a hot day, and we had to get that cake back to the room ASAP. So, we decided to take another cab back to the resort. Next time, we are so renting a car lol.

I walked through the boardwalk lobby, and all the memories came back. That was where I was given my flowers. Aww!

Our cake was huge. I should have gotten a mini cake because we only had one piece of it, so sad.

When we got back to the room, I decided to switch my shoes. OMG my foot was such a mess lol.

I went out on the balcony to see if any of the animals were out. They were.

I took the cake out of the box thinking we were going to have a piece.

Yeah Tim was like NO no cake yet!! Dang! So I put it back in the box. I went to close the balcony door when I noticed a baby giraffe!!!!

We left to go to the Animal Kingdom for a little bit, before coming back to the room and getting ready for dinner.

Lynn your firework pictures are beautiful! Your faves are my faves too. You guys should go in December. There's a huge group of us going and you guys would fit right in with us.

Completely OT, but I was wondering if you could send me the picture of you dressed up as Darla for MNSSHP. I wanted to show DH. We decided to do a completely crazy drive down to FL for MNSSHP this year and I was talking to DH about costumes and wanted to show him yours since it was so cute. Can't find the thread on the Theme Parks, Attractions & Strategies Board.

HAHA we look like dorks. They are. If you move forward the segway will go forward. If you lean back, it goes back. You have to have good balance when you are on those things. The slightest move you make, those things go.

Yeah I eneded up getting blisters on my toes too because I was walking on that foot like I had high heels on, just on my toes. It was a mess lol. Oh you will love the Boardwalk. I want to stay there some day.

Yay for the segway tour! How long was yours? The one I took in d.c. last summer was three hours...let me tell you that is a long time to stand on that thing...and yes I do believe it was the heat that almost made me pass out. D.C. is amazing though you should go sometime! We lived 20 minutes away last summer so we went quite a bit since there is so much to see and do! The metro stop was like five mins from our apartment so we just took that to wherever we wanted to go in d.c. and walked from the metro station...was never very far to any one place. Plus its good exercise! Love all the fairy flower pics...so adorable! Your cake looks delicious! I would of ate it without dh haha. I don't know how we'll get our cake for our anniv. b/c the place is in ohio and we live in va so we'll see what happens. Happy belated anniversary! The baby giraffe is to cute! I heart giraffes!

What a pretty cake! I can not believe that cake was only $40 - what a bargin. If you guys were like us you only got a couple of bites of your wedding cake so a whole slice is an upgrade. Too bad you could not take it home with you.
