The MAY freaks! Celebrating 1 year of marriage! PTR STARTED!!

Pictures came out amazing! Can't wait to hear about your anniversary!

Thank you so much!!

OH WOW like I said I love your Fireworks pic. I really need your settings now for the 4th of July :lmao: I need to start practicing lol

That is so nice of people to talk to you because they know you from Dis. :lovestruc

I love the first pics too all the different colors of the castle very magical. Did you have a wireless remote or wired?

Check in back soon have to go to work.

Hey girl! I had my ISO set to 100, F16 and shutter speed was 2 seconds. I have no clue what it all means, just listened to what the people on the photography boards told me to do lol. Go check that forum out, it's great.

Aww I know, I love meeting fellow disers.

I used a wire remote. I loved it.

What shutter speed did you use for the fireworks pictures? They're very nice. :thumbsup2

Thank you! Two seconds.

Pics look great!! I'm very excited for Wishes now!

Also your Wave review has officially made me want to get an ADR there. I have the worst problem trying new places at WDW but the Wave seems to be like a good one.

Thanks. Oh YAY!!! Hope you have a great dinner, and love it as much as we did. It's great!

WOW!!! Your Wishes pictures are A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!!!!!! You are like an old pro now!:thumbsup2
Can't believe some of the great wait times you had for Splash (love that ride!!) and BTMRR! That is awesome!!
Looooooooove the picture of the Dole Whip Float! Gotta get the float :thumbsup2 not the wimpy little twist :rotfl: :rolleyes1
Were they doing work on some of the stores on Main Street? I noticed during one of the parades that there were some barricades up or something? Just wondering.
Ha! I love the Stepsisters and Lady Tremaine! I met them in January and Anastasia kept touching my nieces red hair saying that hers (Anastasia's) was a much nicer shade of red! They are so funny!

HAHA thanks. I'm no pro though LOL! HAHA Yes you have to have a float!!!

Yeah they were doing a lot of refurb work in MK when we were there. I never noticed it though lol.

OMG that is so funny!!!

Love the updates. The food at the Wave looks so good! It's not part of our ADRs this trip, but your review and pictures make me want to try it. I feel like there are so many places to eat and so little time! Your fireworks pictures turned out great! Can't wait to read about your anniversary and the surprise!

Please try it when you can!! It's a great place. Yeah there are so many great places to eat in Disney, it's tough to make choices.

Thank you!!

Thanks for the great review on the Wave, Lynn!! We really want to try it in September, so pray I get in!!!! Looks delish!

You poor thing with that sunburn!!! I have a weird one from this weekend on the beach, so I feel your pain!!

Can't wait to hear about your anniversary and how Tim suprrised you!!!!!!:cool1:

Yeah you will be able to get an ADR there. Don't worry. You know my sunburn didn't hurt though, it looked a lot worse than what it was.

Ouch you got burned? That stinks.

It was a nice surprise.

*Love* the picture of the reflection of the castle! It is so pretty! The Wave does look awesome. I want the filet and mashed potatoes now!!

Isn't it, I love taking a picture of it.

I want it now too haha!

Your pictures of the fireworks are AMAZING! :thumbsup2 Love them! I also forgot to say that I loved the castle reflection shot...we have that one too! :thumbsup2

Thanks girl!! I loved your picture too!!!!

The fireworks pics are beautiful. Was it hard to switch from a point and shoot to a "big girl" camera? I can't imagine dealing with settings and shutter speed and such, none of it means anything to me:confused:. But I would love to have the picture quality you do.

Thanks, You know, it wasn't that hard at all. The only thing that is hard is trying to take straight pictures, IDK why though. I have to get that little thing Annie was telling me about, to help me get my pictures straight. It's not that big a deal though, cause I can make them straight on my computer.

WOW!! Those drinks from the Wave look awesome! And nice job on the Wishes pics! I'm really gonna have to get some tips before our trip!!

Girl they were soo good lol! Thanks!! Let me know what you want to know.

the fireworks pictures are AMAZING! what kind of camera do you have again? and i can't believe how empty MK was!

Thank you!! Yeah MK was dead that day, so nice.

I have a Canon Rebel XS.

I'm in love with your fireworks pictures!

Thank you!!!

I know you've heard this already but those Wishes pictures are amazing. You did pick the perfect spot. The food at the Wave looks delish. My husband loved the pic of you with Tink. She's his favorite.

Thanks! Watching WIshes in front of the castle, is in my opinion, the best spot ever!!

It was very good. Aww that's so cute lol! Wait till he sees the pics of the real Tink lol.

Great pictures Lynn! Did you use a Gorillapod? I've been thinking of picking one up.

Yeah HAHA! I got a ghetto one from Target for like $15 LMAO!!! It worked great.

Wow that last firework picture was amazing! Yay we will have a few days in Disney the same! We are going the 8-15th. Can you book BLT yet? I hope you get in!!

I love the finale shot too!! No I have to wait until July I think, that will be my 7 month mark, I think right? OOOH and I found out that the Osbourne lights will only be up till the 3rd, so I'm thinking about going on the 2nd!!!!! I hope we can get in to, if not we will stay at SSR. We love it there.

so glad you posted a review of the Wave. I just booked a trip for August and we're eating at the Wave our first night there. I'm torn between that or eating at Whispering Canyon since we are staying at the Wilderness Lodge this time. I really want to try the Wave though! I love steak!

Oh great!!! Hope you love it. I would stick with The Wave. Get that steak, and get it done medium. That is how I got it.

Another perk of the official TRUE Donald Duck fan club. I'll put a word in for you, maybe you can get in.:confused3

Oh please Tim lol!

Your trip report is great! My DH thinks I am nuts because I spent a silly amount of time reading it on Saturday...I think I am trying to live vacariously through your trip since mine will be about the same time next year ( I get to make my ressie on Saturday!) Your camera is fantastic and I may seriously need to think about getting one! You have lots of great pictures!

Oh gosh did you LOL? Thank you very much for reading. It is so much fun living through people's TRs!!

OOh YAY! Have fun on saturday and good luck.

Thank you. I love my camera.

Your pics are great! Thanks for the great review on The Wave. I am glad you liked it--I can't wait to try it in July!

I saw this today and I immediately thought of you and Tim:

Wouldn't it be the BEST job ever??

OOOH I hope you love it!!

OMG that sounds like so much fun LOL. Wish I could do that. I will not sky dive though HAHA!

:lmao::lmao: You do that! :banana:

You two crack me the heck up lol.

Ok so guys, I'm a tart. The other half of the plane I was talking about on the Jungle Cruise, is actually in The Great movie ride and not backlot tour. I meant to say the great movie ride.

Yeah HAHA! I got a ghetto one from Target for like $15 LMAO!!! It worked great.

Nope, Lynn, that's the *actual* Gorillapod! :woohoo: Isn't that awesome? $15 for the most versatile tripod around. I carry mine everywhere and give them to everyone I know. :cheer2:

Lynn, I have to agree with everyone, your fireworks pics are AWESOME! Also thanks for the tips you got on the Haunted Mansion ride! It's one of my faves! I'll have to pay close attention to the bride next time I go!:)

Ok yep you are right did not understand anything LOL:rotfl2: but ok I will give that a try. What forum did you go to I have been checking the photography thread but I guess I haven't gotten to it yet.:confused3
I was planning on buying the wireless remote but started reading that you have to be directly infront of the camera to activate the picture. So glad you told me about the wireless. Thanks  I will have to look at the great movie ride next time. Thanks for all the tips :thumbsup2

Lynn, I want to hear about your anniversary! You're supposed to be posting updates and keeping me occupied while I wait impatiently for the park hours to be released. :rotfl:

Really? I don't think mine is the real brand though, it's like a cheap o brand haha.

Give it a try. The forum is in the Just For Fun section on the DIS. I think. Just scroll down when you log in, you will find it. Oh yeah that is why I didn't want to get the wireless remote.

The othre half of the plane is in the Casablanca scene.

I pm'd you!! Do lots of people post pin trading threads? Where would they be?!

Check out the traders section on the board. It also may be under the Just For Fun section.

Lynn, I want to hear about your anniversary! You're supposed to be posting updates and keeping me occupied while I wait impatiently for the park hours to be released. :rotfl:

ok I have an update coming up now lol.

Lynn - oh my dear I just read a whole bunch of your updates and I don't know where to start. Those firework pictures are great. I have an older camera I wonder if those settings are the same? I must go check out that thread. The Wave looks so yummy, everything you guys ordered I would ordered. Nice score on all the rides being only 5 minute waits. I love the castle reflection too! I would try to blow that up and frame it for the wall.

This time last year, I was up at 4:30 AM getting ready to get married. Man did that year fly by.

We had to be up early for the Segway Tour. We decided to take a cab over, that way we were there on time. This time, our cab guy was not very talkative lol. Too early for him.

When we got out, I had a little scare. For some reason I could not find my little wallet with my ticket and money in it. We rushed to a pay phone to see if we could find the number of the cab service so he could call them and report me leaving my wallet in the cab, and that's when I found my wallet LOL. It was in my purse the whole time. Tim was ready to hurt me LOL!!

Before you can enter the park that early, they ask for your name and if you're doing a tour, and check your names off on the list.
It was nice to get a picture of this with nobody around lol

It was a beautiful day

haha I tried to hold the ball, did not turn out that well LMAO

It is so cool to walk around the park this early.

Looks like they had just gotten done watering the flowers
013-4.jpg

We checked in at guest services. They gave us name tags, and we waited a couple minutes for the rest of the group to arrive. After that they took us over to innoventions, where the segway tour begins. When you get in they have you get your helmets on and go over safety, and how to use the segway.

I of course needed a large helmet because of my hair haha!

Here is Tim all ready to go
015-3.jpg

HAHA what dorks lol
016-2.jpg

Before you go out into the park, you practice. They have you go through cones,up hills and down, teach you how to go over things like hoses( you have to get off and pull the segway over.)

Here we are practicing.

Tim was ready to go, he was so excited lol.
