An icee is the same as a slushie (which they call them in some parts of the country), basically a flavored ice drink, but not to be confused with a sno-cone which is hard ice......an icee has kind of melty ice, mmmmm mmmmmm :dance3: :dance3:
Yes, an Icee is a slushie, Icee is the brand name.
On their web site they call their product ICEE Slush: http://www.icee.com/
Like Kleenex is a brand name for tissue, Pepsi and Coke are brand names of cola.
I never filled my mug from the Icee machine though, I will on my next trip. :drinking1

By the way, do you all fill up your mugs in the morning and take them with you to the parks? If so, what do you do with them all day? :confused3 I keep thinking about all the stuff I am going to end up having with me at the park, when all I really want to do is have free hands to hug Mickey!!! :jumping1:
I don't but I have heard that other people do, they can't be filled up at the parks though, only at your resort you are staying at so once they are empty your just carrying around an empty mug. I've heard of people cliping them to their belts at the parks, or I suppose I you had a child in a stroller you could just toss them in there, or when you by a souviner throw it in the bag. My advice is just leave them in your room.

The first time I went as an adult, I filled my mug and brought it with...and ended up carrying it empty the whole time...of course after the first day you would think that I would have stopped...but no, I kept doing it.

I tend to use my mug in the AM for coffee or diet coke.....and at night for the same. For me it evens out...I think I am one of the few people, who doesn't mind paying $2 for a bottle of water...I just can't stand the taste of the water in the parks

I splurge a whole $10 on a Britta water bottle and it was the best thing I could ahve spent the $ on.

It comes with your first filter and it gets rid of the chlorine taste from the park's water!
:bounce:
I would fill it up with ice from the hotel in the morning and carry it around all day filling it from water fountains. The only downside is that it gets a little bulkie, but I didn't care because I am such a water person.

I was originally going in January, but I found out my favorite ride Splash Mountain was going to be closed down.. Plus I wanted warmer weather and a little more time to save for a longer vacation.. I have never been to Disney during the Flower and Garden Festival so I'm excited about that too..
Its going to be me, my boyfriend quartez, and my cousin and his girlfriend...
YAY.. Only 7 months... lol :rotfl:

Except that discounts are rare when attendance is high! The last two Mays, we haven't gotten any discount, but we can still hope!

We were there MAY 05, and you are right, only AP discounts, we did do this program, and I THINK it was about $75.00 a night discount for room ressies deluxe resorts...It saved us some $$$, but that was when the 50th anniversary, MYW, ME, and DDP was brand spanking at MSRP new!!!
Am REALLY hoping for a much better Dis Deal!!!
PS to WDW Marketing agents lurking at this board..(You know you are out there, and we do too :wave2: )..here's a spin you can plagerize if you wish....How about a MAGIC DISCOUNT YOUR WAY PACKAGE
with various discount options to fit your small (2 person, adults) to large
(2-4 adults with a :boat: load of minnie and mickey kidlets???) Resorts, Dining (don't forget signature dining perks for adults!) discounts...I am in retail too, not a marketing exec, but in my business I DO know what grabs people! just my two cents....and if you could verify membership on the disboards :disrocks: an added bonus...... :cool1:

Will be watching this thread. Hoped to go this Nov for my 40th birthday but it's not working out. :sad2: Hoping to go the end of May / beginning of June. Have never been this time of year but would love to see the garden and flower stuff. I have never gone and payed full price so hoping to see discounts!

I was there in May and we got about $40 off per night for our moderate resort. The best thing about the AP is we are going back this May admission free which saves us $450 per person! The AP ended up only being about $20 more last trip than magic your way so it's a huge savings and you can't beat that amazing resort discount! Overall we saved $320 on our hotel!

A package discount would be glorious! I know I can save money buy buying everything seperatly, but packages are so much more appealing, especially DDP! princess:

I'm planning a group trip for graduation and the betetr the discount, the larger the group will be. (In 2005 we had 12 people because of the free dinning, without only 8 people we originally going to come.)

How about a points card? Not like the disney visa, but more like a shaws card. When swiped at participating merchants we can earn points and for so many points you can recieve discounts!! :woohoo:

I'm planning my group trip for may but we may push it later depending on how discounts are looking. :bitelip:

fill your mug before u go to parks
transfer it to a throw away type cup (large)
when u leave for the parks
works well for a big coffee drinker
