My loving family wakes me up with a wondrous Mickey carol sung in perfect harmony. Although I’m not first up to clean my mess, I find my loving wife has done so without complaint. All participants are ready and waiting for me to take them to the Magic Kingdom.

They graciously wait on me hand and foot. Feeding me grapes as I peruse the morning’s paper. After my long hot shower, they clip my toenails, shave my scraggy face, and dress me in the day’s outfit.

In the kitchen a full breakfast awaits. Coffee, tea, OJ, eggs, bacon and ham steak. They await in silence as I finish the sports section and nibble slowly on my delicious breakfast.



Then I wake up.

Yes, for work. A convention. Afterwards, I'll meet my sister for a couple of days of Disney. We'll stay at POR for 3 nights then head home.

LtP gets a little testy about my "side-trips" to Disney. I don't think a TR is going to happen for this little excursion. Besides, keeping up with ONE trippy is hard enough. Maybe I'll post a blurb as a seperate thread.

For the record, this will be my FOURTH trip to WDW without the clan.

Heck yeah, I read last year's. The one before it, too. I even read the February report to my DH....trying to get him to cave and let us go again before this spring (no dice... )

I was getting ready to comment on your post.

Here's what I do...

I Quote the entire post, then COPY the quote=blue_river and then paste it before each section I want to comment on and just add the [/quote] at the end of each section. It's really quick and effective.

Another way that works is using multiple windows. Have one window set on your post and the other window to search the thread and copy stuff over.

This probably makes no sense at all. It's hard to explain.

I`ve always wandered what to call that tunnel! Now it will be called Buzzes poop tunnel! Did you bring the UoG in with you?, I do not have the UoG yet! I think I have every other Disney book but that,I will put it on my christmas list along with Realityland!

Any of you who have driven to MK know about the hassles involved. Park in the lot, jump on the tram, exit the tram, walk 100 yards to the Monorail, wait in line, board the monorail, elbow your way to a seat, then ride it to MK. It’s a 45-minute adventure, fraught with peril & not fun.

Some of us like to sleep in a little while on vacation.

We watch the pre-show, enjoy all the “hoopla” then go into our routine. We split into two groups. Group #1: Me. Group #2: Everyone else.

“I’ll give you this “Skippy” doll if you give us a head start”.

She laughed out loud and so did another female CM standing close by.

“I’m actually considering that”, she says, “those Skippy dolls are rare!”

Now what would you have done if she did consider it???? Poor MB

Splash is open and we’re among the first 15 to ride it. In fact, we rode it twice. I’m not sure I even like this attraction any more. The song is as annoying as Small World’s and there’s really only a 7 second thrill during the entire 9-minute ride. With the advent of 3D shows, it’s hard for me to get worked up over the 60-year-old technology that Disney calls, animatronics.

We haven't tried it yet

Without beer to stimulate my brain, I’m in for a long day. Oh, how I miss Epcot.

You mean you didn't sneak any in??

carrie, Skippy is the little white guy that MB is holding in the pictures in my last installment. You only find him on Stitch's Great Escape at MK. He's the one in the "tube" when you first walk in. He used to have a much larger part when it was Alien Encounter.

carrie, Skippy is the little white guy that MB is holding in the pictures in my last installment. You only find him on Stitch's Great Escape at MK. He's the one in the "tube" when you first walk in. He used to have a much larger part when it was Alien Encounter.

Anyhoo...Yes,,I remember Skippy now from SGA (awful attraction BTW) But I didnt remember him from any Lilo and Stitch shows or movies..Thanks,,I can sleep now!

Nope, he's only on the attraction, not in any movies. He's "special". The fact that his role is so minor now makes it hard to believe to they'd actually make a stuffed animal out of him. We're going to have to hold on to that one. I'm not sure you can even buy them anymore at Star Traders... :
