I do not chastise Buzz for this unscheduled stop. I remember all too clearly my episodes the previous spring and fall so I really do not think it's the right time.

Yup, we've been on it once back in 1996. DS's were 5 and 4, and fell asleep on the boat in the evening!

This was there first time at the Magic Kingdom, and 50 feet past the entrance, we hear "I'm tired. Can we sit down?" This after only a 1 hour drive to get there (DW was living in Cocoa Beach at the time) and they slept in the car on the way, and hardly had to walk at all. Whady'a goin ta do?

Sigh, I understand it this way, it is words you use when you have a conversation with your kids. I think everyone says the first word, but would you want to have a conversation with your kids on the 2nd word. That is how we determin what is and isn't allowed.

Lactating is not a bad word, it's a description of a bodily function that leads to feeding babies. There's nothing wrong with breastfeeding.

I agree about lactating being a perfectly acceptable word to explain to your kids if the need arises. And who doesn't love poop humor with their kids?

If the word is being used in a disrespectful way also, it doesn't belong on the boards. LtP does have a sense of humor, but Buzz used the word in a disrespectful way. I would clobber my dh if he posted a picture and said something like that. I think he needs to step in and do some moderating in his own TR.
