Okay, here's the thing. When I go on vacation,
I'm on vacation too. That means NO COOKING, even breakfast!

So that benefit of the off-site condos doesn't apply! We never rent a car, so save there. I love Pop, and so does my family, so no sacrifice to stay in a value. (I like it better than the moderates, so there!)
Disney World, means DISNEY, all the way - toiletries, toilet paper, towel animals, Disney transportation, and all. When my DGS was 3, his favorite thing was the transportation - we rode busses, monorail, boats, trains - what more could a little boy ask?
When we go to the beach, a condo is great, but we spend a lot of the time there. Even when we go back to the resort for a break from WDW, we are in the pool, at the splash pad, in the food court, or doing other fun stuff. In the room we are just sleeping or watching Disney specials on TV. (Does anyone else's younger set memorize the "Top Ten Things to do at Disney"?) I can't imagine what would make me stay off-site!
