It's one of the Atherton Twins from Cirque du Soleil: Varekai. They do this incredible aerial straps routine.

I just figured you had an unhealthy obsession with some boy band....:rotfl2:

Those are the twins they featured in that mini-series, right?

Yep they were in the mini-series. And unfortunately without their facial piercings I cannot tell them apart. True identical twins they are. I mean there are some twins I can tell apart...like the totally yummy Phelps twins from the Harry Potter series.

My DH is an identical twin. I am one of the few people who can tell them apart easily. Me likey twins. :thumbsup2

I'm leaning that way. They haven't had that experience anywhere else as all of the other places (Yachtsman, Artist Point, etc) have kid's menus. They've eaten at Chefs De France, but none of us have eaten at Bistro. Barring harsh words from Buzz, I think we'll go for it!

I've been lurking and decided to speak up.

Is it wrong to lurk your own thread? :confused3

Beware: Harsh Words Coming

CDF = :sick:

Take the kids to Bistro de Paris and give everyone something to talk about. When LtP and I dined there last October, a family came in wearing t-shirts and cut offs ( I joke not! ). We dined fairly early (6pm) so as not to miss Off Kilter followed by David Cassidy.

I believe they open at 5:30pm. 30 Days out, first thing in the morning, make your ressies. Don't look at it as you're going to bother people. Look at it as a great adventure that you may not do again until your kids are older. You'll have a lot fun describing how they snubbed the lobster and ate nothing but bread for dinner.

The absolute best meal I've had in my entire life (I eat out a lot!) was at the Bistro De Paris two weeks ago with my sister.

The photo really doesn't do it justice. Everything melted in my mouth and was full of flavor.

Atlantic Red Snapper with vegetable spaghetti, saffron sauce $32.00

The absolute BEST time I've ever had alone with my wife was also at the Bistro De Paris (in the coat closet :rotfl2: ) :

The waiter suggested this French Bordeaux -- :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

LtP and I ordered the exact same thing -- Maine Lobster sauteed with asparagus, ricotta gnocchi, creamy bisque sauce $43.00

I am months away from posting this segment of the trip report so hopefully you all forget this info. ::yes::

.

That looks so good! I've been allergic to shellfish for about 15yrs now. I miss lobster. :headache:

Lurking on your own thread? That is a new one to me. But hey it is your thread do whatever you like...within reason. I don't want you to get in trouble with Mari more than you already are and get kicked off the Dis. The Dis without Buzz is no Dis indeed.

From the looks of those pictures I think I may have to try the Bistro on a future trip.

So what if we showed up in cut offs and t-shirts, Buzz! They didn't seem to mind my 44 oz. Big Gulp cup and glow-stick earrings either.

Seriously- you both look adorable! Happy Anniversary!!!!!!!!!!  (I'm pinching both of your cheeks)

yeah, that one thing looks like a soggy paper bag. Sorry, I've been missing all the fun.

What a week. Number 1-my windshield's big owie from me driving on the highway which I'm not supposed to do. :headache:

#2. I woke up Tuesday night (my anniversary) at 1:00 am, throwing up sick. No one else got sick (so it wasn't food poisoning or something) and Loud Girl was throwing up last week so I guess I got the flu bug from her. That night, I got up 3 more times to barf. :confused3

#3. Slept all day and all night Wednesday. Had to sew 5 costumes for the Christmas program this Sunday (simple ones) and draw pictures for a banner. Didn't get anything done.

#4. Trey forgot to give me his note about his Christmas program this morning so I got it with 45 mins. to spare. Go to his school and waited for his class to sing. Turned out, he got the stage fright and stayed in his room to do his math instead. Glad I spent that hour watching strangers sing.

#5. Went to LA's class to help her make a gingerbread house in the afternoon. Got stuck in traffic due to a wreck (thankfully it wasn't me) and was 10 mins. late. She was nearly a basket case by the time I got there, thinking I'd forgotten her.

#6. Went to sew the costumes for church and on the first one, my sewing machine broke.

#7. My mom brought her sewing maching out to me, plus the banner to draw the pictures one.

#8. She left, I started sewing, her machine's tension is out of whack-I couldn't even use it. No more sewing got done.

#9. The banner is satin, drawing pictures on it won't work so I have to rush and come up with something else that is ok with the other people at church. :confused3 What that'll be I don't know. Maybe felt cutouts.

This is the very last Christmas program I help out with. Everything I touched today has turned to crap. Except the gingerbread house. That turned out cute.

I'd go take a bath right now, but I'm afraid I'll scald myself or slip in the tub, fall and get a concussion. :headache: What a week.

Sorry Linnie but :rotfl2: :rotfl2:
I've kinda had the same type of week myself. one episode involved juggling 3 huge rolls of wrapping paper and 4 over stuffed grocery bags. Yes, it all ended up on the ground. :sad2:

:grouphug: So sorry Linnie to hear about your bad week. I hope all gets better soon. It is great you got to make the gingerbread house with LA. I can't believe 2 sewing machine malfunctions :headache:, I guess God didn't want you to make the costumes :confused3 ?

 If I had a bigger hug smiley I would use it. Remember Christmas is in a few days so things will get better.

I hope you and your family have a wonderful holiday. :santa:

Stolen from Brenda's thread - the guru of drinks!!

Start Christmas day with this - - guaranteed - a great day!!

Brandy Milk Punch

1 1/2 cups of milk
1/2 cup heavy cream
12 ounces of brandy*
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup very cold water
1 tablespoon vanilla

*some recipes call for bourbon but we think that's too strong for this drink*

Combine the milk, cream, brandy, sugar, water, and vanilla in a large pitcher. Stir well. Serve beverage in short tumblers (whiskey glasses) over ice; sprinkle each drink with nutmeg.

Have a great holiday everyone!!
