~ The Man Report ~~~~~~~~~ Bonus Material Included ~~~~~~

Great trip report, I was dieing at the bathroom story:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: . Sorry, but if you don't find bathroom humor funny you are either lieing or too uptight that I can't even be bothered.

So does that toe have a cape, Saturday morning cartoon, a movie deal???

And what is in the basement???

Venetian Managment is very conservitive. So we don't put nascar odds up till Saturday. Our regular guy is off on vacation this week so I got picked. It's my first time doing nascar. I'll be tweaking the odds according to the formula we use until Saturday morning. In a nutshell... I don't quite know yet. And, I'm a little nervous.

I'll be in Vegas this week (Thursday, May 10 to Sat May 12). I'll stop by the Venetian sport book and say "Hi". Who do I ask for?

I'm big on bathroom humor. Just ask blue!1 :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

yes, my toe does have a cape. I just took it off for the picture.

I'm off thursdays and fridays. Saturday I'll be there 6am to 2pm. but you're leaving that day right? Ask for Traci, if you can make it. And get your bet in on Gordon, right? That's who you like? You can mail the ticket in if you win.
Or just bring it with you next time you come down.

Buzz.. I believe you a setting a precedent.. this TR is even better than the last....:thumbsup2

No pressure, but wow! The October TR is sure to be a goodie!

My Lego space ship and my new "guy". I rock!!

When will the official airing of grievances begin?

:)

I haven’t been on the boards in awhile-I’ve been too busy shining up my new Mother’s Day present. It feels like I wrote this before-I’m having major déjà vu right now. Anyway, Buzz got me a huge diamond ring as a gift. NOT! He got me wheels and tires for my car. What a guy-he knows what every girl wants. He’s such a romantic. :sad2:

Later this morning, I’m going to pick up my present I bought for myself. In 1960 my grandparents divorced and my grandma threw away all the pictures that included my grandpa in them. My dad retrieved them from the trash, but not before their wedding picture got some stains on it. I’m having it restored in memory of my dad-he wanted me to have it after he passed away and I always told him when it became mine, I’d get it restored and hang it in my home so that’s what I did.

Now back to this TR that’s about to end. That Bozeman airport-yikes! What a zoo. People everywhere with these oddly shaped bagged items. I asked Buzz, “What is everyone carrying, I thought hunting season was over??” Duh, they were skis. I’m not into winter outdoor activities or really any other outdoor activities so didn’t recognize them. It was annoying-people were so rude and un-Montana like with them. Just bumping them into people. I was getting quite cranky.

A couple of times Trey escaped from us and Pooh had to track and hunt him down. She’s pretty good at it & never gives up until she finds him. I would've just figured him lost and gone on as a three-member family.

Trey would run off, he was very upset that we had to wait for our bags-he was ready to go home. He finally flung himself down on the ground in front of a family waiting for their bags. I apologized to them as they nearly fell over him, then dragged him out to the rental car. That boy-he takes after his dad when it comes to patience. In the car, I told him the car was time out. That settled him down. I waited in this steamy hot car for what seemed like forever, all the while thinking to myself, “There’s no way our bag made it on that flight.” When we were being seated on it, the pilot came on and apologized for the delay and said that they had some last minute bags to load. I was praying it was ours. But really doubted it was.

I was so shocked to see Buzz & LG roll up with the bag. What luck! My mood immediately improved!!

After 15 minutes, the kids were asking when we’d be home. This was going to be long trip. On top of that, Moan Boy kept trying to open his door while at top speed! I finally pulled over and had mom click the safety switch to keep them locked in.

Little scary-he actually got it opened at one point. :scared1:

I guess my wife set the alarm off and had to talk to the security company.

Yep, our alarm company loves me. This happens a lot. I didn’t know opening that particular door would set it off, but it did. It’s so loud-it scares the crap out of the kids and myself-great way to return home! Nice and relaxing! :scared:

After my Lego spaceship was complete I took it to Pooh to receive her praise and she said, “Uh, little help would be nice”. Women, there’s just no pleasing them.

That’s not exactly what I said…It took him an HOUR to build this thing while I’m busting my hump putting everything away, starting the laundry, watering our plants, coaxing them back to life and working on dinner. Yeah, I wasn’t exactly happy to see the spaceship.

After she got everything put away, she ran to the store for food then prepared our dinner (stir fry) using the new Chop Wizard. I’m sure she’ll have more on this part.

I liked the chopper. It chops good. And I love shopping. I couldn’t wait to get to the store. Our attorney told us a neat thing the last time we visited with him-he said women love shopping because it goes back to our primal instincts of picking berries and things off trees-being gatherers. Shopping satisfies that instinct. Men hate it because they’re all about getting a spear, hunting down the animal, killing it and bringing it back. No fuss-they set a goal and do it. It’s true for Buzz and me. I love shopping and he has this annoying habit of going after something and getting it no matter if it’s the most expensive thing around (example: my wheels and tires he got me for MOTHER’S DAY) :sad2:

I prefer to shop around for the best deal and I miss shopping (even grocery shopping) while I’m on vacation. I hate to be rushed. My perfect day at WDW would include about 3 hours shopping around, but the rest of my bunch hates it so I don’t get that luxury. :sad1:

And btw, we’ll never tell what’s in our basement!!! :thumbsup2

I placed a call to the security company and they provided the following picture as pay back for all the false alarms.

They sent a couple more, but I won't post them to protect the innocent.

88 mph? Didn't you then go back 1955?:upsidedow

:rotfl:

Actually, about 10 years ago or so, the speed limit in Montana was abolished and the limit of "Reasonable and Prudent" was adopted. However, too many people thought that was dangerous so we had to get an actual number limit again. Some people take the fun out of everything...:headache:

blue- I haven't travelled around Montana a lot believe it or not. There are a lot of mountainous areas like that picture I took in the car. I hear the western part of the state is much prettier than the eastern half.

290px-Billingssky6small.JPG

This is a view from atop our Rimrocks near the airport. It shows about a 1/3 of the town toward the east. I was hoping to find a view that showed the west end part a little more-it has a great view. Anyway, we're in kind of a valley surrounded by these Rimrocks-it protects us from a lot of the nasty weather like the hail they're predicting us to get tonight.

I wrote this before on these boards, but my dad said to me a few years ago something like what would I do for entertainment if I didn't have Buzz. That's one of the many reasons I married that nut. He's so funny-he just kills me.

:lmao: :rotfl2:

Right now as I'm writing this, Trey is sitting next to me playing his game boy racing game and asking me what all the smilies are-it's really cute. He did this last night too. "Blue guy is sad. Dancing. Mad. I need a hug." He's describing the ones he knows to me. Huge progress for him-he's getting them all right and labelling the emotions. He's even asking me questions, "What's that?" It comes so easy for typical kids-we really rejoice over the "little" things like this. They are so big to us-the feeling is indescribable. Excitement, hope, happiness, elation, relief to name just a few. Just wanted to share that.

Thanks for sharing with us LTP! We're proud of Trey too!

I'm thinking I missed something waaaaay back in th TR, but how do you pack for 4 people in 1 suitcase for a trip to Disney?

;) They all wear the same clothes every day. Buzz makes Linnie work out on the washboard and tub every night.

Sorry for the MIA gang. Was in NYC then Vegas. It was work but loads of fun.

First of all, yes, we had only ONE bag with us for all four people. It weighed just under 50 pounds so we didn't have to pay a penalty.

We also each had a carry-on so we kind of cheated.

The room we stayed at had a washer & dryer and both actually worked!! We did laundry every night.

Ok. Sorry for the delay. I'll wrap this report up this week. I've still got a lot of catching up to do on all of YOUR reports.

Buzz, I have a toe story of my own now. On my second day at DW, my DD, DGD, and I were returning from DS and the Tower of Terror. As my DGD went skipping along, she kicked my little toe. I looked down and was horrified to see my toe sticking out at a 45 degree angle from where it should have been. :scared1: OH NO, a broken toe at Disney!! How would I do all the walking I needed to do? :sad1: I just couldn't be an invalid after all that planning! So I reached down to see if it really was broken and if I could feel the bone wiggle. When I gave the toe a twitch back into position, I heard a pop/snap and it settled back into a much less acute angle. I still figured it was broken, so hurried on ahead and grabbed ice from the ice machine as I headed to the room. I filled a plastic bag and iced that sucker down for about two hours. While I was sitting there I thought about your toe story! :rolleyes1 Miracle of miracles, the next morning I cautiously took a look and there was not much swelling and only a little redness - NOT the black and blue throbbing blob that a broken toe would have been. :cool2: I tested my shoes and discovered that the Birks didn't touch it but gave it a little protection. So off I went, and never slowed down. Guess it was just dislocated. It is still a little tender, but was I lucky!!
