A few years ago, my dad told me it's a good thing I have Buzz around b/c he keeps me laughing. Boy that is the
truth.

Laughter is the best medicine. You two are a great match!

I love that song-Toby Keith, right?? He's awesome. Unfortunately, Buzz might not get it b/c he is not a fan of country music. He is a big metal head. Hard to imagine I know.

JoJo is the only country fan in our family and I've come to like a few country songs because of her. She is also into EMO stuff which drives me bonkers - most of it sounds like screaming.

Yeah, Poor Buzz-he has such a tough life, doesn't he?

He sounds very hard done by.

Hey, Blue, Buzz has a real weak stomach for bugs, spiders and things. He gets all squeamish around them. That's why he's picking on you-he's jealous that you're so at ease around them!!

That's okay, I can take him!

What is it about swim trunks?? When we first started going to WDW 10 years ago, Buzz wore his swim trunks everyday! If memory serves, they were green with a bright yellow and navy pattern. That's probably where he got the idea for wearing the same clothes all day-he used to do that with his swim trunks. I used to wear a Mickey tank top that was actually a pajama shirt. Yup, we were all about the fashion

My DH wore a pair of those swim trunks on one of our days. The back and front were black which was fine, but the sides had this white strip with green flowers on them.

I actually cropped the bottom half of him in those pictures before posting them in my trip report. You just don't think about that stuff UNTIL you start sharing the pictures with the whole world (okay...not the whole world but at least everyone in the DIS community).

Thanks for the chuckle and smile this morning, it was a great way to start the day.

Your posts are hilarious and just make my day!! (I'm a stay at home mom, so it doesn't take much to make my day )

I wanted to comment about the KFC Big Box. We haven't tried it yet, but everytime my husband sees the commercial he comments about how we need to go to KFC so he can try it (assuming you can substitute the sides, he doesn't like the ones in the commercial).

Hmmm the two hour flu huh? Interesting after all that binging Am I jealous though, I have a wedding dress to get into which has = slim fast meals for months. The moment I start the honeymoon full gluttony begins! I love the pool sequence and btw, I'm terrified of birds also from watching The Birds as I kid. My heart goes out to you Linnie!

Prior to the duck attack & after the cannonball, we gather for a family photo. The crowd has begun to thin.

Moan Boy & I “sneak” up on the Rabid Duck.

By this time I have only one thing on my mind: Duck Soup!

Moan Boy also enjoys the delicious feast served to us at Giordano’s.

Prior to our meal arriving, I practice my “Gang Signs”. Pooh-head is never happy when I do this.

Representin' the DIS! Yeeeeah, boyeeeee!!

There are a couple of things you all need to know about for our first day’s adventure in the swimming pool at our resort.

1). Linnie The Pooh hates all birds. She’s afraid to death of them.
2). A duck is a bird.


Pretty soon, I spot a rather large duck up in the sky circling the area. He looks more like a Hawk than a duck. He’s all alone which strikes me as odd. What’s even odder is when he starts his nose dive towards the pool aimed directly for my wife.

I really can’t believe my eyes as he zeros in on the one Duck-Hater in the area and swoops down 100’ to within inches of her head and lands neatly in the water and gives her a nice “glare”.

Pooh is just plain freaking out by this time and out of the water as if someone yelled “Shark”!!! The kids & I are laughing uncontrollably and the duck is still staring down my wife. This is one mean duck, let me tell you.

Oh, Lin! I totally feel your pain. I'm deathly afraid of birds as well. Rightfully so, I've been attached twice! Once by a kamakazi Hummingbird, who attacked me because I unknowingly walked too close to her nest. And once by a mean psychotic goose, who thought my flip flops belonged in her nest.

I refuse to go anywhere birds hangout. I will not visit the atrium at the zoo and there's no way I'll ever, ever see "Flights of Wonder" at AK. Uh-uh, not happening!

Oh, Lin! I totally feel your pain. I'm deathly afraid of birds as well. Rightfully so, I've been attached twice! Once by a kamakazi Hummingbird, who attacked me because I unknowingly walked too close to her nest. And once by a mean psychotic goose, who thought my flip flops belonged in her nest.

Geese can be very aggressive - I've seen them go after my dog, which is a Collie, so were not talking about a small puppy here.

I wanted to comment about the KFC Big Box. We haven't tried it yet, but everytime my husband sees the commercial he comments about how we need to go to KFC so he can try it (assuming you can substitute the sides, he doesn't like the ones in the commercial).

I dream about it. BTW: Your husband, while probably a really nice guy, is all wrong about the "Big Box". It's absolutely perfect and needs no substitutions!

So what's your opinion of the "Big Bowl" they were selling... the corn/potato/gravy/cheese/chicken thing? I haven't seen any ads for it lately, but those turned my stomach. Interestingly, my wife thought it looked good. I married good.
