Last time I was at Sephora, I bought a bottle of Urban Decay All Nighter makeup setting spray.

I use the monistat as a primer, then use Everyday minerals makeup, first spraying my application brushes with water. After I have my makeup on, I do a couple spritzes of the All Nighter spray on my face, and I'm set for the day.

This spray helps my makeup easily last through a regular day, and it definitely proved its worth tonight. I just got back from 5 hours of home visits wearing a bullet-proof vest, going in and out of the hot muggy outdoors, and into several homes without air conditioning. My make up is still on!!! even though I got so hot I sweated through my shirt under my vest.

ohhhhh I have been trying to stay away from Sephora but I am almost out of eye make up remover....what's a girl to do?

Lisa

You know I try to stay away but a friend gave me a 30.00 gc and I had a 10.00 gc from a store opening....like that will by me one item but still I need to stay strong. I will wait till the 15% sale once again. I DO not need any make up.

ahhh haaaaa I could put on make up, take it off, put more on, take it off a la Katate Kid for the rest of my life and never use all my makeup.

I have a 22 year old little sister that is more than happy to take the stuff I don't like or never use off my hands.

bumping this thread for the poster who wanted info on foundation. I bet there is more here than she ever expected! LOL

To the thread regulars...anyone use a hair regrowth inhibitor? If so do you use the one with the word Bare in the title? I cannot remember the name but it is like 42.00 a bottle and I saw it in People Mag this week.

Anyone know or use Vanica for facial hair? It is a prescription but I was thinking of trying it. I don't have a huge amount but I was just wondering if anyone had heard of itl?

I just made v.i.b. status at sephora on monday!!! I stocked up on some great products and got a free reward from their skincare challenge. I got:

clinique lash power long wearing formula (love this!!)
spehora french tips and toes manicure pen
clinique blended face powder (great product to set your makeup)
benefit cosmetics gee..that was quick! makeup remover (now I don't have to wash my face twice to get my face clean)
make up for ever flase eyelashes
clinique pore minimizer refining lotion (a great quick fix!)
clinique stay-matte pressed powder
laura mercier velour puff (you can throw this in the washer!)
harajuku lovers bathing beauties pencil case (i put my brushes in this; it's super cute!!)
sephora 4-step buffer
nars lipstick - honolulu honey
kinerase ultimate night moisturizer (my skincare challenge reward; great product, very moisturizing)
dr. brandt pores no more pore refiner
clinique all about eyes rich
tokidoki cromatico palette (my favorite eyeshadow palette, great colors, lasts a long time)

can you recommend a good mascara -that lasts all day & doesn't smear/smudge/run- drug store brand, please - I can't do the dept store prices.

and while we're at it ---- what about a good foundation/powder - one step face stuff. I hate the feel of liquids & getting it on my hands. I used the Dual Finish stuff for a while & right now I have Benefit (I think I got it @ Sephora in Penny's) for some outrageous price - looks good but it doesn't stay on all day....

I want something easy that'll last - I don't wear makeup everyday - but when I do I put it on in the car - so simple -1 step

I wouldn't mind paying the price if there was a decent amount in there - I just bought the stuff I have & I've already made it to the bottom of the compact (not empty yet, but only a couple weeks left).

Hello,

I just found this thread and think it's great!! I have light/medium skin (MAC NW 20, Halo Light or Medium, BE Medium Beige, etc.) and my favorite bronzer is Benefit Dallas - it is a bronzer/blush hybrid that keeps me from being too washed out :goodvibes

One of my favorite mascaras (and I have tried and own alot) is Loreal Double extend mascara. It doesn't smear, smudge, clump or run. It's like tubes on your lashes. :thumbsup2

:yay: HOWDY DOODY MAKE UP QUEENS!!! Wow, its been sometime since we all posted!!! :yay:

Hope everyone had a FAB summer!!! :cool1: Just a drive by HI!!! :surfweb:

Since this thread popped up again :) I wanted to post my recent finds..

Loreal Lash Out Mascara - very nice - gives me lashes I didn't have - and if you are a coupon girl - walmart register will take any loreal coupon against it - I got two the other day with $2 off loreal hair dye coupons so I paid like 4 bucks each for them.

I am a diehard MAC girl - but this was a good find from a friend.

I also recently tried the new MAC liquid eyeliners - the girl had to convince me to try instead of liquidlast because I have allergy eyes and that liquidlast does NOT come off - but this works very well on top - it is smudging a little if I put on the bottom but I don't always do that and the colors are beautiful. I don't have the name handy but they are brand new.

Bump! :mickeyjum

How is everyone?

I'm back from a long Disney trip - and went a little nutty with perfume, while down there.

(Italy) Blu Mediterraneo - Fico Di Amalfi - http://www.sephora.com/browse/product.jhtml?id=P163804

and

(France) Dior 'Escale à Portofino' Eau de Toilette Spray - http://shop.nordstrom.com/s/3028366?origin=related-3028366-0-1-1

I don't even know what happened. I just *wanted* them. :confused3

Another update - I've been using Latisse since the beginning of August. Holy Moly!! I can't say enough good things about it. I ~adore~ Latisse!!! :cutie:

What's new with everyone? :wizard:

CR - do you have any progress pics? Everytime I'm at the dermatologist I'm tempted to ask for Latisse but just haven't wanted to pont up the $$$ yet.

And great perfume haul. I bet you smell all purty. ;)

You know, I wish I had - but I don't.

I can't say enough good things about it. The only drawback? My Too Faced Lash Injection is *too much* for my lashes, now. They look so THICK and so LONG. Ridiculously so.

I've been running my mascara wand under hot water, before I apply it - because I can't seem to find a mascara that doesn't add length and volume. Imagine that....not wanting it.

I was thinking about going back to Clinique's Naturally Glossy? I don't know.

My lashes on their own, are rocking. pirate:

Well, I'm glad to hear an un-compensated review regardless. :) That is too funny about the mascara too. Have you tried plain ole Covergirl Lash Blast? I like that one because it doesn't make your lashes too thick and it doesn't run. Well, actually the waterproof one runs on me but not the regular. Weird. :confused3

I'm pretty sure that's the one I tried - its in the gray & white - 2 step mascara? it still smudges on me - I look like I have black eyes.

any foundation ideas? I'm using Benefit now - but i'm not fancy on the price! I think it was $35 & it's almost gone (I guess its lasted about 4 months & I don't wear makeup daily).

When i do wear makeup I apply it quickly - one step for face, 1 for eyes & 2 for lips that't it - 5 mins max.
