WOW! Rolling tool boxes, tackle boxes, custom cabinetry ! Here I was thinking I'm crazy going from 0 to 60 in the whole makeup thing because I needed to buy 3 mini drawer things by Sterilite for all my minerals! LOL

Ya'll are NUTS! :lmao: And I strive to be just like you someday soon. :lovestruc :worship:

Once the addiction is started it grows exponentially and I bet there is not one person who is on this thread who does not get a rush when they walk out of Sephora with a bag....just wait next year at this time you will be searching for these posts to see if you too can find a rolling mechanics cart at Sears :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:LOL (not kidding though).

Keep in mind there is make up and then there are skin care products, and hair care products....when I tell my DH I am not buying anymore make up for a while that is true BUT skin care and hair do not come under that category. I am still waiting for the Philosophy Advanced Eye Hope which I might add comes out May 1. ;)

Thank you!! My MIL loves Vera Bradley but never could afford it so we bought her one for Christmas during a big sale in the fall. Since Mom's Day is soon, I ordered her two accessory pieces to go with the one we got her and a mini hipster for her summer travels.

I had to pay $8 on shipping, which is fairly ridiculous IMO. I agree they zap you on that.

Got my Vera Bradley today not a bad turn around time since I ordered on 19
and 20th. Cannot say I like it but then again it is not for me. I got the cargo bag for myself but it is just so not me. It will be okay for traveling. I tried, really I did try to like it but I cannot. I did get 7 gifts and for that I am happy b/c those for whom I purchased them do like it.

RED ALERT!! :rotfl: Beautycrunch had the Stila Smudge Pot liner that some of you missed out on last time. Go to Beauty Crunch and click on the first page where it says sneak peaks. ;)

I saw this at the Disney Store today - I think I am going to get it for my bathroom to put my everyday make-up in! We are in the process of redecorating our bathroom with a Disney/beachy theme and I think this will look super cute. I currently have my everyday stuff in a Disney Princess pink little tackle box, so I think this will be better. It is so cute. 8 inches tall, 6 wide and deep.:cutie:

Oh, I could see all kinds of uses for that. Cotton balls, q-tips, hair junk for DD, etc. :thumbsup2

WHERE??? I don't see a link that says sneak peaks. Can someone help me out here?

Am I the only one here who is dying to see Cat's makeup collection? I'd love to see a picture of all her goodies (or anyone else's for that matter). There is the food porn thread over on the restaurant board. Anyone else up for some make-up porn? :lmao:

Nor does perfume. :thumbsup2

I'd like to see everyone's too. I need a rolling SEARS cart first, though... I have too many cases. I like that those cart's are flat drawered. :)

Makeup porn.

QVC has a today's special value with this in it. I'm not sure how true it is, but they implied to buy it seperate it would be about $40, but it is included with the other stuff for about $90. Not sure if you use the other stuff (cleanser, etc.), but I had been wanting to try some of it, thought it was a good deal and jumped on it.

Sorry Kim I have not been on for a few days and did not see your post. I could not remember who it was that wanted the smudge pots. Did you get them? Go to the Beauty Crunch page and on the far right toward the bottom you will see a square that says sneak peeks for our valued customers. I did not sign in when I looked so I assume that you can see it too.

BTW I got the POP make up kit with the 35 shadows and 4 blushes and 10 lip glosses and it is quite nice. It has quite a few shades of eye shadow some are much more pigmented than others but all in all it was well worth it.

Let me know if you cannot find it.

I do not think it is the same one that is coming out on May 1. They already have something called Eye Hope but this one is advanced. It is in a pump container like the kind that you get when you use Patricia WExler. My friend kept reminding me to watch or at least go on line and she did watch she too is looking for it in fact she watched the whole day and did not see it. Thanks for posting though. The one we want costs like 53.oo but it does work I hve been using the samples for over a week and it definately made my circles lighter and my lines less noticable ...then again I have been on school vacation and had lots of sleep so that could be the reason too. I will find out next week when I use it and go to work.

I caught the presentation of the set a couple of times and it is the new one that comes out May 1. They kept pointing out that it was new and that is what made the set an "advanced" kit. My order confirmation actually says that it will not ship until May 1. It is also in a pump container.

I probably just heard the price wrong because they kept saying how much each individual item would cost to point out the great value you were getting by doing the set as opposed to purchasing everything seperate.

Last nights show had the founder of Philosophy on and it was a very interesting / informative show. Really makes me feel comfortable in trying the line of skin care and also made me feel like I was buying from a good company.

I checked it out and you are right the only thing I did not like was that it was on auto delivery. It was a very good deal though.

You didn't have to do auto delivery. QVC always has a seperate single order number, but obviously promote the auto delivery. I notice they have it at an introductory price now ($98), which is still a pretty good deal if the Eye Hope stuff is supposed to be by itself $50+ when it comes out.

It is a great deal but I wish that they had it with the Hope in a Jar Replenishing also I do not need the retinol I think I it might make my rosacea flair up. I will check it out again however because I could throw the retinol away and still be ahead of the game.

Hello!

I hope you don't mind my coming to your thread to ask a couple of questions. Overall, I look pretty young, but I do have 2 makeup issues that I would love some suggestions for.

1) Every single mascara I've tried smudges or flakes underneath my eyes. I have very deep set eyes, so that is probably a lot of the problem. I've tried everything from the cheap Cover Girl Great Lash to expensive Lancome mascara, and nothing works! Waterproof doesn't smudge as much, but it does within 4 hours of me putting it on, especially if it's hot outside. I don't touch my eyes, so I'm not sure what the deal is. Any suggestions?

2) I have allergies, so during the spring and fall I get some dark circles underneath my eyes. Sometimes they are puffy as well, but not usually. I've honestly never bought any sort of eye stuff before, and I don't want anything harsh. I don't have wrinkles yet, so I'm not looking for an age reducer or anything like that. Any thoughts?

Why would we mind?? :confused3 :welcome:

1) I can not say enough good things about Too Faced Lash Injection. It's not marketed as waterproof, however I am able to wear it to the waterparks, or all day sweaty at a park - and it doesnt smudge, flake etc. I love that stuff. (check out www.beautycrunch.com - for good prices on it!)

2) You need something with a yellow in it. Do you use mineral makeup? Id you do - you should try a yellow based undereye concealer. I know everydayminerals.com , has one.

Undereye circles - when theyre from allergies - are a tough one. You cant really 'get rid of it' - you can cover it, though.

And lastly - my DR saw my dark circles and said 'you should take a benadryl when they get like that' and I did - and it made it WAYYYY better!

HTH!
