BELLA YES!!!!!!!!!!!!

THAT is what I want!!!! The rolly red things!! I want one too!! :lmao::lmao::lmao:

I was too ashamed to admit it. :rotfl2:

NEVER be ashamed to admit somehthing like that on this thread....we are all in the same boat:rotfl: And those of us who are not are well on their way to joing us:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

DH has one of those things in the garage. Sorry, guys, but they are ugly! I can't imagine having one in the bathroom. But you know, imagine something similar in a pretty wood, like cherry. With slide out drawers and sections or cubbyholes for different kinds of make-up. Almost like a piece of furniture - well, actually, yes, it would be a piece of furniture - on wheels if you like. I don't think such a thing exists, but I bet there would be a market for them. Heck, I'd buy one!

HMMM however you could do one of two things...paint the rolly thing and change the hardware OR you could use one of those tall jewlery chests ....I think I am going to look in IKEA and see what they have although I hate to buy that stuff you need to build it and there is always something missing.

Look at what it pulls out to:

:banana::banana::banana:

There is a God and he loves me!!! ;):lovestruc:worship:

:thumbsup2 Always, always look at other things to repurpose when you need storage. I have a rolling tool box that I use for all of my scrapbook/craft junk and it is the best thing. Much better, and cheaper, than anything they make and sell specifically for it. And actually Plano, a company that makes tackle boxes, has started making female friendly colored boxes to use for the little stuff that scrapbookers use (like brads). Probably hired a new female that informed them of the missed opportunities. :lmao:

Oh, and I totally second your view on the camping. I tell my DH that there is a reason for all of the hotels and motels around. If camping was really all that great everyone would still want to do it. :rotfl2:

Have you ever tried the Matrix Amplify line?

Their shampoo and conditioner - along with the root lift make a HUGGGGE difference in the oomph of my hair. A HUGE one!!!

ANd the price isnt that bad.

Does anyone know how this compares to the Redken Body Full line? I've been using the Carbo-Bodifier with decent results. It doesn't leave my hair to sticky like some other "mouse" type products do sometimes. I have not tried the shampoo and conditioner yet. But I do wonder about the Plump Treat and Weightlifter. Not sure how this would help with my fine thin hair and how it wouldn't be weighted down. :confused3

My DH has one that is a pretty bright blue color. I've seen them in stanless steel, yellow, black, etc. Also, I could have sworn that I saw a MU artist using something similar to this on a TV show one time. I think it makes a lot of sense because there are shallow drawers that would hold a single layer of MU perfectly, but also larger drawers for the bigger jars/bottles, etc. If you look hard enough, you'll find something that is attractive and works good too. :woohoo:

Oh, wait I thought of something else that would work. It is made for scrapbooking/crafting, but the drawers would be a perfect size for makeup and some of the other cabinets have larger drawers. Here is one example:

Plus, they are a little more attractive than the tool chest.

Good thinking the only draw back is it is a kit which would be a pain b/c I would have to have DH put it together and that would take forever! I bet we could wait till Michaels or AC Moore has one of their 50percent coupons we might be able to find something similar and for half price. I am going to check out the craft stores.:woohoo:

I love the idea but it does not look big enough for me. The sections are too small unless you catagorize each tray one shadow, one lipstick, etc that might work....I need one of those things they use in the mechanic's you know the one on wheels that is like four feet high ....usually they are red. I have one of those huge train cases the ones that cost 100....my friend the one who likes to buy make up and not use it gave it to me. It is no way big enough. However, you guys have inspired me. I think I will catagorize my make up tonight.

Ha ha! Those are made by craftsman and are sold at Sears.

I know I saw that they came in stainless steel. Because I was seriously considering it to use as an island when we were redoing our kitchen 9 years ago. I had stainless appliances and liked that it rolled because my kitchen was small, and when I didn't need it, I could roll it over to the corner.

KimR, maybe you'd like one of those great big jewelry cabinets?

Oh and my exhusband and I did agree on one thing. Neither one of us wanted me to go on his camping trips.

I thought of that, too! You guys have got my mind going now becuase my BIL makes cabinetry. If he had the time he could design something like this and sell them if there were a market for it. I wonder if there would actually be a need for this or if regular vanity drawers suit most women's needs just fine.

We will be getting our bathroom remodeled when I can get up the motivation to do it. I have a vanity drawer with a stool are underneath that I never use (the stool, not the drawer). I need to be closer to the mirror in order to apply makeup, so I've been thinking about having that area replaced with shallow pull-out cabinets with built-in compartments for all my make-up. The only reason I hesitate is I wonder if this would be a drawback if we ever wanted to sell.

Last night my DD took some 'before' eyelash pictures. They didn't really turn out that great - DD said it was becuase she doesn't have the proper lens (I think that was a hint). At any rate, I think I'm going to have her take one each week so I can track the progress of the effects of the Latisse. If you all are interested in my little experiment, I'll post the first set of pictures next Wednesday. She'll probably be getting the lens for her birthday in mid-May, so hopefully the quality of pictures will improve around that time. :)

CR are you still using the MO replenishing product??? HOw is it working? I am waiting to find it on line somewhere.

I'm sorry I missed this - I love it!!! I love that whole line!! I told my g/f they need to come out with an S&C, too. It's good stuff. If you find it, scoop it up.

I kinda liked the industrial look of the red and silver Craftsman rolly things. I'm eclectic in my tastes. :snooty:

Thats what I told JIm I wanted - a big shelving unit - with books and crannies, and drawers... how cool would that be?? :goodvibes I think there absolutely would be a market for them!! Like - a Vanity - sort of, but for 'today'. Like a "hook" sort of thing to hook your blow dryer / flat iron on, too? Make it a big wheely case of fun!!

I wanna see the pics, yes!!! :yay:

Did you get your Restalyne? Are you all beaten up? :upsidedow

I have this little beauty and it works WONDERFULLY!

Hey they had that little baby at Costco and I think it was like 49.00. I looked at it and thought to myself, what would anyone use this for? DUHHH! I am going to check that out at Costco. That might do the trick..I just do not want to spend a whole lot on storage because that takes away from buying the actual make up. If they have it at costco I know what my Mother's Day request will be. THANKS DD:lmao:

Sunglitz and RUSK - both have blue/violet shampoo's and/or conditioner which when used on blonde hair (or highlights) can get rid of orange brassiness. Good stuff.

Sunglitz even has a Mocha line, as well as Strawberry. I love pigmented shampoo's! :goodvibes

When you say 'hold a style' what are you doing to it? Curling? Flat ironing? Just blow drying? And how long is your hair? What's it like?

Your daughter hair - I'm on The Moroccan Oil train now. *toot-toot* I can NOT say enough good stuff about it AND we might be able to just use their styling cream for your problem too. Good stuff!!

LOL! I am glad you love it as much as I do. I do not know how they do it but my hair does not get oily when I use it still it works!

I've actually heard of Moroccan Oil. A stylist recommended it to my daughter but at the time we thought it was expensive for my then 11 year old. :)

When I say, hold a style, I mean the style lasts hours instead of looking flat by the time I get to where I'm going! When my stylist does my hair, the style lasts a couple of days rather than a couple of hours.

I blow dry my hair. Sometimes I also use a curling iron. It's shoulder length.

I'll attach a photo so you can see. Pardon my dumb look.

Thank you! :)

Get the Morrocian Oil on Cosmetic Magic they have some fantastic prices and great sets. YOu will save a ton on both the cream and oil if you buy it in a set and they usually ship and it arrives in like two days if you purchase before 3 pm. I saw it slightly cheaper on Amazon but just for the oil. If you spend 40 on Cosmeticmagic .com it is free shipping but not on Amazon since it is sold through one of their sellers. Personally, I would do Cosmetic Magic b/c I have used them several times and the procduct arrives quickly, prices are good, and they give you samples too! Also if you go to retailmenot.com you can get a code for a 5 or 10% discount and since you live in MA this is another enticement....no tax on this site.

Did you get your Restalyne? Are you all beaten up? :upsidedow

Yes, I got the Restylane and no, I am not beaten up at all! :thumbsup2 In fact, it looks better than last time. Everyone will tell you that this is only temporary, but I SWEAR there are lasting effects - at least for me. At first I thought it was only my imagination but then when I went in the Dr. asked me if he even normally treated the one side - it still looked that good. He wound up putting only a very small amount in the one side - less than last time and it looks great. I did find one article that mentioned this occurring but almost everything else I read says 100% temporary. :confused3 I don't know, maybe this only happens in certain cases, but I'm not complaining!

To be honest though, DH and the girls told me they can't tell any difference, but I'm very happy with the results.

I found one on Michael's craft store site. It is big and white go to the section storage and it is there then check out the name I cannot remember the brand on line and I bet you could get it somewhere else cheaper OR wait till Michael's has a 50% COUPON.

Hey, I am going to check this out on transdesigns or head2toebeauty it will be less expensive and if not I bet they have some pro stuff that might work.

I got mine from Trade Secrets for $35. It was regularly $50. I saw they have a black and silver one now, but I don't know the price. I love the little velvet lined cubbies that the bottles fit in perfectly. I use the bottom part for manicure/pedicure tools and new makeup that I haven't gotten to yet. ;)

My DBF bought it for me. Not sure where he found it but when I googled it I found it on ebay. I'm pretty sure he wouldn't spend THAT much on my MU storage facility. I love it though. It's just PERFECT.
