I'm right there with you!!! WooHoo!!!! Are you going to send a Fax to CBR with any special requests? I've always gotten what I've requested with it just being noted in the reservation system, but this time I'm thinking I should probably send a fax with requests because of definitely needing 1st floor since my 93 year old grandfather is coming along. Don't tell him that I'm making this special request for him because he'd be ticked. LOL He doesn't consider himself old. He just went bungee jumping last year. LOL

HI everyone!

Well I got some shopping done too : I hate actual shopping, I much prefer to shop online, but this week I have done both.

I got my pop up laundry hamper and other little bits and pieces I read about on the organisational tips thread, plus got myself some clothes online.
I had to shell out for a wedding outfit at the same time, my brother is getting married on the 24th August so it came to £215 ($430)
I wouldn't mind, after the wedding outfit, I only bought a few t-shirts and 2 pairs of pants, so how did it come to that much :

I'm glad I got the kids clothes for the trip way back! I had to buy my son a suit for the wedding today too, that was not a pleasant experience,, he is 18 next month and did not want to wear a suit at all, lots of complaining which got on my nerves as i'm the one shelling out here!
Anyway thats the wedding outfits sorted (dd15 is being a bridesmaid and dd5 has a fancy dress from Gymboree)
I'm pretty sure there is something else I need to buy, but I can't think what? it will come to me on the plane over

Shocking news about the DDP, this is my first time ever on the plan (and its free which is a dream come true lol) but I think it will be my last, unless free dining is offered again

I can't PROMISE to be at any of the meets, because we ARE traveling with 2 other families, that are doing the actual planning....But.....Through this whole "Focker Watcher" and LGMHPC talk, I've DECIDED the color of my fingernails for the trip!!! You Guessed it, LIME GREEN!!! And we WILL have our Mickey Heads! I'll have one on my Camera Case as well as on our stroller!! And through an idea on another thread, will have some with my "name" on them, to pass out to other DISers I meet!

This is my plan.....since we have a large group, and will not be "following" anyone around the park, either (Although you are ALL welcome to follow

WooHoo! You sound like so much fun! Everyone on this thread seems like people I would enjoy hanging out with! Can't wait to meet everyone and sure, you can ask me to say cheese and click, but I can't promise that it won't break your camera. OUCH! I would absolutely hate having to spend that kind of money right before a trip! Well, at least it's for a good cause! Enjoy the wedding and then you'll be at Disney! WooHoo!

Well today. I will go out shopping with my mom. She needs new clothes. I need to get the rest of the stuff on my list. So, I figured we would just go together!! So, I will go get her at 4:30. I am hoping to completley finish shopping for my packing list, today. For some reason, it has morphed from 12 items to about 20 items. Oh well. I must remain focused, to get all of it done. Which I plan on doing, while having fun. Getting excited with mom about the trip!

Tracie, wow. You seem to have alot to do!! A wedding, and a Disney trip!! I shall not complain, about my little list!! It must be very exciting, yet taxing as well. With school, and everything else. You are the best!

Oh I think we must have been sisters in a past life, I am so much more looking forward to all the food than the rides,, well I love rides too, but to be able to have someone cook and wait on me is sooo wonderful!
I used to work in the catering industry (in fact I used to have my own Cafe for a while) so I know how you feel Melissa,, I think it makes you appreciate a good meal so much more when you know what it entails :wink:
