I just watched the first "Perfect Proposal" episode (I'm home sick from work)....and I'm crying like a baby. Oh, how I'd love for something like that to happen to me someday! How romantic!

I'm still confused about the "travel channel" ... I don't have it through my cable subscriber (comcast) but I do have it "On Demand" ... how does that work? There's only a few shows listed on the On Demand site and none of them are disney :(

The "On Demand" is a like a library selected progamming from that channel that you can choose from where as the actual Travel Channel is the channel itself. Sometimes they have Disney programs that are listed in the On Demand, you just have to watch for them.

Its to late for todays. But Ill see if i can tape the rest... It sound like a great show!

I have the whole week's shows set up for recording...can't wait to watch tonight!!!

MJ
I have the show set to tape everyday too...but I watched today and... I have to say it was very irritating that they didn't even get on the ship until the last 2 minutes of the show and then he proposed before they even left the port! I wanted to see more of the ship! (an less of them....they were a bit...well, ditzy!) I am holding out hope that the other 4 episodes will spend more time on the ship!
(I just need a good Disney Infomercial! guess I could go watch that DVD they sent me...) :earsboy:

the reason they did that is becos the crew really did shoot 5 proposals on ONE cruise. i think they could only shoot maybe 2 at a time. a perfect proposal shoot usually takes 3 days, and then they have turnaround time...they shot the first one before the ship left so that particular crew could start editing before the other 4 got back. also the next four will all be on the cruise.

Thanks PHILADISNEY!
I was thinking this might be the case since previous cruisers mentioned being on a cruise last november where there were camera crews every where and the shows would air on February. I had a hunch that maybe they filmed all 5 shows on the same cruise. Glad to hear someone else thinks this the case too...
I will, then, reserve further judgement for after I have viewed the other 4 episodes! :teeth:

I was afraid that this was what happened in November. :( I was also hoping for a new DCL travel show.

We were on the Wonder 1/30 and during the red carpet b4 the Golden Mickey's they did an interview or 2 and then said they had someone coming up who wanted to ask a very important question (or something like that). Then there was a couple and he proposed to his girlfriend and everyone in the theatre got to see and hear it all. A few mins later when they walked into the theatre they got a big ovation from the crowd.

:flower:

It's not fair! I won't see the Perfect Proposal until 1:00pm today. I better get back to the store before then. I'm so jealous! C'mon 1:00! :cool1:

I just finished watching it (home sick again from work today)...so sweet! I'm just gonna keep dreaming!!

I must admit, I even got a bit misty-eyed at the end on today's show. Seeing the couple on the bridge brought back some very happy memories for my DW and I from our cruise this past January. The only thing different is, we had Capatin Thord, not Captain Tom, on our cruise.

Today's show was much better. :) I cried when they were on the bridge too.

I haven't seen either one yet...they're both Tivo'ed, and I'll probably not be able to watch tonight either, so I'll have to watch 3 episodes tomorrow night.

But I just talked to SIL, and she said today's couple is from St. Louis!!! :Pinkbounc

And they met at Washington University (my school!)!!! How exciting! :bounce:

Can't wait to watch! :teeth:

Does anyone know if today's show will be repeated anytime tonight? I was sitting right here on the computer at 1pm. and completely forgot about the show!!!!!!!

Unfortunately, no. :badpc:

TV Guide Online shows that this show does not repeat.

One comment about today's show...is it me, or did the captain look like he wanted to be anywhere but on that bridge at that moment?
