I just got back from watching Wishes tonight from back in Fantasy Land.. While we were watching, there was a young CM named Robert ( I think he was a part of the night cleaning crew)who was interacting with a young handicapped girl. This young man was beyond amazing!!! From the time I noticed which may have been about 1/4 of the way through the fireworks until it was done Robert would act as though he could make the fireworks appear and the young lady would follow his cue. They would wave the fireworks up, trickle them down or wash them across the sky. They turned toward the castle and then behind the circus. There was a crowd around them as though they were on a stage. What a wonderful sight those two were. Walt would have been proud. Any parent would have been proud. At the moment it felt like Disney Magic. Now I'm realizing the magic existed in this young man long before he got to Disney. What an asset to the company.

Thanks for posting this! That's a beautiful story. It's nice to read such a positive thing happening, after reading all the negativity that runs rampant through the Disboards. Thanks again!! :)

So sweet! What a wonderful young man and how great that you witnessed it! I got chills reading about it!

That's a beautiful account. How magical for that child and those around.

Thanks for posting. We are making our 56th trip in February and the magic definitely does still exist for us.
