First time in Europe, wo~ho! That must be really exciting, I remember travelling to he States many years ago and walking around with my eyes gaping for days. Well keep reading the thread it will really start hotting up after the turn of the year, as many here are doing other cruises prior to this one. Just ask away if you've got questions as many here have a great deal of knowledge about transatlantic voyages and cruising in general. My one tip is please give yourselves a few days prior to he cruise in Europe before embarking, if you can of course, enjoy a city or two. This allows you to see some things and your luggage to catch up if you get unlucky with the airline.

Just poking in to say "Welcome" to all the new cruisers! The TA crossings are addictive... we loved our WBTA 2011 and EBTA 2013... but gaining an extra hour a day for WBTA is our favorite

I completely agree. We did the EBTA in 2011 and have been waiting for this WBTA so that we could gain an hour rather than lose one every day! It is going to be a fun year getting ready for this trip!

Wow... is DIS not allowing Fish Extenders to be coordinated in rollcalls any longer? So sad.... how many hours do those of us coordinating an activity contribute, answer PMs, follow posts, etc? That is ludicrous!

I guess I better copy my Palo Brunch stuff to somewhere else before it gets deleted as well. I can't count how many messages I have received, responded to, and updated the post since this thread was created and we all booked on opening day. Would certainly hate for it all go to waste.

We booked this cruise using our Disney Vacation Club points and are so excited to be joining you all!! I have been on one TA cruise before and it was amazing. It was the EBTA of 2011. Looking forward to floating back the other way this time. Looks like some nice ports of call as well. I will have to read up on them.

Can someone please explain to me why a post I have written has been edited by someone other than myself without any communication to myself by way of explanation. The email address for our FE group is not showing up on my post ... I am trying to assist a fellow cruiser here in response to a request. Is there some DIS rule about not allowing email addresses in posts now, or are we simply not allowed to organise FE groups outside of the DIS itself.

I would greatly appreciate an explanation
