You may need to increase the airfare to Barcelona a little as well as the Barcelona hotel. There aren't many rooms that sleep 4, so you will probably get dinged for two rooms.

su_kraft, Thanks for everyting you have done so far I really appreciate all your efforts. I see that the first charge for the hotel is not until March 2014 but what are the cancellation policies? The only reason I asks is I might have an opportunity to stay at the Ritz Carlton Barcelona at a rate too great to pass up.

Your airfare sounds really low for 4 people. It seems people were talking closer to $1000/pp to Barcelona. Returning from San Juan should be much cheaper, but probably still atleast $1000 total unless SWA has a great deal that works.

Being retired SWA, I'll bet there will be some pretty good rates. Schools in the US will have started and therefore not to many vacationaires at that time, it's still hot in SJU, winter travelers not going yet, so keep an eye out for when the schedule comes out for those dates.

I think so too! We started looking the first of the year and found a fantastic rate around the middle of the month. I used a fare tracker. We paid about $400 each from Los Angeles to BCN on British Airways. That was a few years ago but I'm still hoping to get 2 tickets for about a grand.

There are lots of good fare watchers and tracking sites that can help out. Oh and if you have a good travel agent, they can be helpful too!

Larry 46, DW Deb 37, DD Jen 22 DD Jess 19. We live in Green Bay about six blocks from Lambeau Field. We have been on three cruises in our lives all three Eastern 7 days on the Magic. My wife is awesome and we are looking forward to this so so much....We currently have a 9C booked and will be moving another dummy res so we will end up with 2 cabins.

I would love a bit of feedback on our budget:

Hi, looking at your info., if you come to Chicago and fly to Barcelona on PIA, Pakistan Airlines ( which is who I flew for the 2011 WB) for about $410.00 o/w. they are an excellent airlines, it's nonstop from O'Hare to BCA. Most onboard are going on to Pakistan, so I found immigrations was easy because there were only a few staying there. SJU to MDW (Chicago), would probably be best price, either have someone pick you up there. If not, there might be some sort of shuttle service to Green Bay. I will be flying both PIA and SWA. Hope this helps some.

Alright Peeps... now that we have decided on our Cruise Name it is time for me to start working on the lanyards! I'm looking for suggestions of colors to start. I need ideas for the actual lanyard and then the lettering!

We had yellow on WBTA 2010 and pale blue on WBTA 2011, so potentially for those of us who hoard these type of things, rule out those colours this time?

Since we had such a good time on the 2010 WBTA, we decided to do it again and excited about a new itinerary!

Please add us to the roll call. We're Andrea & Greg from Northern Virginia. Empty nesters; DVC since 1995; this will be our 9th DCL cruise (after we complete the WBPC in May) including all four ships.

yeah i like the skinny ones we had in 2011 too, not too heavy to carry round all day. and i kinda side with richard too, i like purple.


oh and for all the 2011 people, the legend of kirby lives on, i was telling people at work about it tonight and they didnt believe me, so off to do a thread search for the photos people posted a while back so i can show them
