I was away for training this week. Thought that by the time I got back we would have closed our first thread and be a few pages into the second. But, looks like things actually slowed down during the week.

Hey folks! I thought i was early signing up but see that there is a full community established. I wish i signed up last week because the price jumped $500. Argh.

We just got our 2 week fix in December on the eastbound Panama Canal so totally looking forward to this.

It will be me and my hubby only. Leaving the boys at home who will be in middle school then. This will be our 8th cruise by then. I do have two cruises scheduled as of now (sept DVC member cruise and the Thanksgiving West Caribbean on the Fantasy). Who knows what could happen tween now and then.

Would love to sign up for FE.

Welcome Nat! We met on the WBPC. That makes 3 of us so far from that trip.

Yes! At least we'd have some company. Plus, an hour back for 6 nights throws me off too.

I'm seriously considering going to the grocery store right now....

I usually just surf the Dis when that happens. I try to stay in bed, but it doesn't always work to get back to sleep. Too much trouble to put clothes on to go to the store though.

I figured out yesterday that if I lose 1 lb a week til the cruise, I will be at my perfect (like, when I was in college 100 years ago) weight! I can do 1 lb a week. Or close to that. After Girl Scout cookie season is over, anyway.

I just changed to #7114, so we'll be joining the Deck 7 party! Much as I loved our previous location (read: easy to find when drunk), which we've had on all 3 cruises now, the siren call of the secret deck was irresistible. It's actually $140 more than our previous stateroom, but as Dennis hasn't even agreed to that yet, I figure, "in for a penny, in for a pound," right? What he doesn't know works to my benefit. I think I'm on my 5th four-day hold on our ressie. I'm going to have to find a way to slip that deposit past him, soon.

Anyway, looking forward to the new stateroom experience!

I collect thimbles, and i have seen them on a site but they don't send them to Europe.

Yes, it's a vingerhoed (ik snap dat je dat niet weet, maar ik spaar die al zolang dat ik het wel weet). I don't now if they sell them on the Dream, but if they do i like to have one. But i believe they got them as a present at the first cruise.

I was on the Dream Maiden Voyage and they didn't give them out as gifts, we were given a Ducky Williams picture, a book about the design & building of the ship, a coin, MV champagne glass etc.

I think I remember them being sold but I don't know if they still sell them. Have you tried ebay?
