I love James Taylor!!! No doubt at all it was an amazing show!

The husband of a friend of mine who just cut his first record (Dan Heidt) has a voice so similar to James. He writes most of his music himself. Great music by both!!

My fiance and I visited Iceland from the UK in March this year and had a wonderful time! We saw the Northern Lights, went husky sledding, walked on a glacier...all in 3 days.

I'd be happy to give you some tips and share some experiences with you if you'd like to send me a PM so we dont clog up this board!

Is that the DCL one?? With port, champagne, red wine and scotch with dark chocolate, milk chocolate, white chocolate and carmel??

I did the DCL one on the EBTA 2013. On EBTA 2014, I did a chocolate tasting event that was open to all (more family friendly) each one of us brought chocolate to share and drank our choice from the bar.. great time, well received. CMs all over the ship got chocolate to share!

Hey Susan, yes the original plan was to get a private DCL chocolate tasting event.

In the run up to the EBTA 14 DCL said they were no longer offering it and I know you arranged the family informal get together, but they had the DCL official one on the navigator so I think they maybe offering it again.

Danae maybe willing to take it on as she PM'd me but if not then I will give you a shout. Thank You!

I spent 10 days in Iceland 13 years ago. We actually got married there on that trip. It was the most amazing trip we have ever taken. Is there something specific you would like to know?

I don't recall seeing any conversation around having a group PJ breakfast one morning during week 2 as it traditionally happens. Are we planning that?

Along the same lines, what about a "Til We Meet Again Lunch" on the last sea day (or thereabouts)? Have I missed seeing this group event as well?

MandyGirl was on our 2013 Magic EBTA cruise. She and her family were going to spend two nights in Iceland on their way home. She checks this thread regularly.

I'm sure I saw a little area at the back of one of the shops on the Magic doing kids make up, that was on a med cruise in 2011 so things might have changed. Maybe drop them an email

There are some good youtube videos that show how they do the kids hair. I watched some and did my nieces hair for WDW. I left links on the family board to the better ones.

That's the list finally closed for Champagne Girls and details on the first page have been updated with confirmed places. Despite requests, a handful of people haven't confirmed and have been removed from the list being sent to DCL to arrange the event.

Start dusting down your tiaras and fluff up your feather boas ladies

I'm hoping for 2 groups of 30 each and DCL have previously suggested that this is their recommendation for the events as well, so fingers crossed

A list of participants for each group will be listed in Page 1 in early course.

For the people that are not on facebook, there's also a list for lanyards they will be approx $3-4's each.

I cannot delete messages from my iPhone and My inbox has filled up again and I cannot respond privately since full . Not near a computer.

Brunch -I updated post 8 the list had been sent off. Someone has now requested to remove their party which means I will have to cancel that entire group since not meeting the minimum of 12 now. I don't even know if I can cancel --- details in post 8 about how it works. Usually can't - as I had put in that post from day one of coordinating this since feb 2013

I will have to contact DCL but the way it usually works is once I have sent in request it is set- charged with no cancellation and they cancel your individual reservation if one was made when they approve our groups. Check post 8 for details --- and would have to notify the rest of the group we need more to fill to make the minimum 12.

Will keep posted but the purpose of private room was not intended for me to keep spots to cancel after securing a spot on our own - it is to dine together in the private room
