Just another update on me trying to get everyone's confirmations to send for DIS Brunch - here are several questions I have been answering in various places:

- yes, a waitlist is being kept in public view as it always has been (see DIS post #8 on front page - bottom of that post in bright pink - this shows people wanting to add to the brunch or change groups who are already listed in a group)
- no, I cannot remove someone from a group so you can take their spot; however, you may contact them to ask if they would be open to a trade with you and then let me know if they are already on the list in a different group or I can add your change request to the waitlist of changes/adds
- yes, I need your confirmation number to send to DCL as our DIS names are not what they have on file
- yes, please make your own Palo reservation so you have that just in case DCL is not able to accept our group requests for the private room (DCL will cancel that original reservation once our group request is accepted)
- yes, we must have 12 minimum per group (max of 14) and I hope to send that to DCL in May so they have it well in advance
- yes, I am updating post #8 at least once a day when I am near a laptop and not doing my normal job. I will update your status to "CONFIRMED" beside your name after I have received your confirmation number and updated my spreadsheet

I was looking to sign-up for the Postcard and Recipe Exchange but have been unable to locate the activity. If it has not already been organized, is there any interest? I really enjoyed receiving the postcards from the different locations fellow cruisers are from. Also appreciated receiving the recipes, regional or just favorites. It didn't take a lot of room in our case and was a nice reminder of our cruise and the friends we had made.

If there is interest, and no one else has offered, I would be happy to organize the activity.

How long will the meet last? I was thinking maybe 1900 start would be a little better, to allow for those who will be touring the city all day, maybe have a little break after a long day to freshen up before heading over to Hard Rock? What does everyone think?

We will come at whatever time the group decides and make it work, just thought I'd throw out a little later time to see what people think. Looking forward to meeting everyone and wearing our logo shirts!
 
Is the creator of the 1 of the alternate cruise logos here, the 1 with the map design showing the path of the ship as it sails from each port, with the country flags/port name as a Mickey head noting each stop along the way? I really want to use this design on a tshirt but the file size on the photobucket link is only 257kb so it comes up as a grainy image quality when I upload it for the shirt, plus I can't make it larger. It looks like the file name references 'Paul' in it, not sure if that is the creator? If you are the creator and can please message me to email a larger file size I would greatly appreciate it, thanks so much!

I just remembered there was talk on the DIS about signing up with each other for linked dining. Are a lot of you doing this? Do we get matched up just based on dining time & party type (adults only, etc), or do we have any discussion about likes/dislikes and common interests? I'm considering linking but I would like to know more about my dining companions. I've had some AMAZING tables in the past where we all talked about anything and everything every night and had so much fun laughing, and still keep in touch. But, I've also had bad tables where companions were nearly silent, or bragged about everything they have, or complained extensively. I feel like it is such a luck of the draw. And its a shame because we always meet wonderful people the 1st few days on board by the pool, etc. and wish we had gotten to be seated with them instead. Anyone else feel this way?

I would love to chat with others who may be interested in linking as late dining, adults only. It is me (28) and my dad and we would get along with any ages, we have fun and love to meet people from all over and share good conversation. During the day we are found by the adult pool having vacation cocktails and enjoying the sun, or doing active excursions on port days. We like the piano bar for a pre-dinner drink and the adult comedy shows after. These are just a few things that describe us but I'd be happy to share more and get to know others. Any other adults interested in getting to know each other better here or by email, and maybe linking up? If so let me know!

Please sign up and join the fun of having your DIS Boards buddies and FB friends sitting close by. All of us will be on the same rotation and will have tables of adults only and families.

Some families will want to sit at a table that is made up of their family only, Please let me know that so I can place you according to your wishes.
Other families may want to sit with others, I will try and place those families with children with other families with children about the same age/sex. To accomplish this I will need age and sex of the children.

If you are just out of school and celebrating graduation/new job, 20's etc, I will try and put you with others like you.
Other adults will be placed based on requests, friends, etc.
