I'm new here and have been checking stuff out. I found my way over here from the Trip Report Board.

I don't get Trip Reports. Why would you want to waste six months of your life writing about a trip you took to an amusement park?!

Why would total strangers want to read about it?

And what's with all of the personal details? Do we really need to know that much about you?! Just tell us what everything costs.

Not that cost matters. I never think about money. The more I can spend at Disney or anywhere else, the better.

Also, what is with all of this Maelstrom stuff?! Why the big deal about it being a fastpass??? Living with the Land is also a fastpass. So is Winnie the Pooh! We LOVED Maelstrom. Epcot is our favorite park.

Maybe someone can explain what all the noise is about.

Good Morning Everybody, Welcome to the Magic Kingdom of Maelstrom!

Sorry, my kiddos have watched NOTHING but the Disneyland sing-a-long for the last week while driving. (Love that DVD player - can't even make it out of the driveway/parking lot w/o 3 yr old saying "Mooommmmieeeee, I want to watch my mooooovieeeeee.")

Speaking of 3yr old, I confess that I was domestic this weekend. I was sewing. I haven't sewn in a while, but it all came back to me. DD gets a brand new Snow White dress to wear to Princesses on Ice in 2 1/2 wks. She doesn't know about the ice skating, but it was hard to hide the dress. Stayed up late (well, last week it wouldn't have been late, this week it is. Stupid Daylight Savings Time) putting the dress together - she saw it this morning - the big eyes were worth the effort. I'll post a pic when it's all done. I'll also take a pic of my bloody fingers that I work to the bone for the benefit of my family.

Mark - how went the building project? I feared that death had occured when neither you nor Rhonda showed up yesterday. No broken bones, gnashed teeth, wailing, moaning, complaining? A trip report about playground building, now that's what I wanna hear! (And yes, I do on occasion have dealings with the office to the north. But they think we send all our bad guys to Macon just to tick them off! Our office motto: Banishment from Houston County, making our problems yours! )
