DH's appointment was fine. Yes he does in fact have an ingrown toenail and he slept wrong supposedly and now the lung is pressing a nerve? I don't know. Muscle relaxants, antibiotics and he'll be fine. Or he'll be sitting out while I ride the thrillers myself. Oh and his blood came back normal.

Mad props to NM's kidlet...that's awesome, I am assuming because I also have no idea what that particular award means. But since it is for one of our own, it mus be an amazing award.

We ended up playing Hi Ho Cherrio instead of Chutes and Ladders.

Hi Ho Cherrio -- now there's a game designed to kill a few brain cells. They do get better though. Wait till you graduate to Princess Monopoly or Disney Sorry. That's when the competition gets cutthroat.

Rhonda...Pooh WAS in church yesterday. He was so inspired. He came home and started his own little Bible reading class. He got a good turn out.

Grammy, They could be best friends. I usually let her wear whatever she wants unless we are going out somewhere reasonably nice. The neighborhood Moms probably think I am color blind and/or pattern deficient.
I say, if it doesn't smell like LaLa's beanbag, she can wear it!!!

I actually was at Michael's!! But I do not own a Pinocchio handbag. Sorry. In fact, there are no outward signs of my Disney-ness. Unless I pull in the parking lot beside you and you hear Spectro is blaring through my car stereo.

ASHCLAN and PONGO - "Fruit of the Spirit" refers to character qualities that should be apparent in someone's life if they are a Christian. (As found in the Bible in Galatians 5:22 - love, joy, peace, etc.) Unfortunately, many of us Christians have a hard time with them - and they are qualities that should be pursued by ALL of us, regardless of our faith. However, my daughter attends a Christian school and they give the Fruit of the Spirit award to one child in each class whom they feel has embodied these qualities throughout the year. So, sorry for the long explanation, but that's the deal. Thanks for asking.

Oh and POLYMOM, about dessert at Le Cell:

Here is a pic of the dessert sampler my husband and I shared on our trip. It had the happiest celebration chocolate whiskey cake, the Maple Creme Brulee and a Raspberry Sorbet in a sugar cup. Neither hubby or I like the Creme Brulee, just too sickeningly sweet. The chocolate cake was good, but VERY rich. The sorbet was actually the best single choice to end the meal. It was cold and smooth and just the right touch of sweet and tart. I actually kept alternating between the chocolate cake and sorbet as they complemented each other well.

I have also read that a lot of people like the kid's chocolate "moose" (mousse). And I'm getting one for my kids next time, just so I can take a picture.

(BTW, we both had the filet w/ mushroom risotto. SO RICH. All I can say is OMG! This is the only restaurant that my husband insisted that we eat at again this year.)

We tried LeCellier for the first time soley based on Mel's trip report about it. My husband LOVED it. He wants me to be SURE to make reservations there again for our November trip...at least TWICE.

I'm still back on page 574 , so I'm off to catch back up...and then go pick up my youngest, and then go grocery shop...and then come back and put them down for naps...and then come back here to start ALL OVER on catching up again....

. Evidently, my victory dance when I win is worth watching b/c my wife later confessed to taking a dive in one of the games just to watch me win again. I don't know what's more disturbing: that my wife figured out how to take a dive in Hi Ho Cherrio or that my victory dance is that much worth watching or that I have a victory dance for winning Hi Ho Cherrio.

Jamal - He is soooo cute. Bring him to Sunday dinner. Same time, same place, every Sunday. No dress code required. Except wear your lipstick. Hayley would love him, except she already has 3 boyfriends. They are all named Zach. Little Zach, Big Zach, And Zach H. And tomorrow when we go on her class trip they will all be on the bus. She already told me all 3 want to sit with her. She is a mini Sheridac - she wants to spread the love. She will be the death of us I am sure. She is sooooooo DH's girl. He despises every boy named Zach
