Nope...no true initiation...but if someone types "Maelstrom" you repsond back "...Is a Fastpass?!" It all started with Zzub's TR and then on the Mel's (AKA 1000thHappyhaunt).

And since the thread moves REALLY quickly sometimes, just type alot of posts and you'll get some attention.

I got a nice note from Horsegirl on my Trip Report and she asked me to post back over here.

Horsegirl: You did not hurt my feelings. Seriously, I don't know what would make you think you did. As I said many weeks ago on your Trip Report, we may be vastly different people with hugely different political and religious viewpoints (for instance, my kid wouldn't ask why George Bush lied, rather, she'd ask why people keep accusing him of lying when it was clear EVERYONE, even Bill Clinton, was mislead by the intelligence). But you love your husband and you love your kids and you love saving money: that makes you my friend.

I'm glad you're feeling better. Your kids need you.

My practice ebbs and flows and there are long periods of time for me when time is precious and although I'll make time to read trip reports while I scarf down a salad (and in the case of LaLa's report: regurgitate it back up) I don't have as much time to follow along on this thread. In addition, some of the things people joke about around here aren't funny to me. That's ok. There are lots of things I joke about that aren't funny to other people. It's not my place to be the morality police and so when things get a little "hot," I just check out and use my limited time to read other things.

People may call me a prude, a child, puritanical, fanatical, a Bible-thumper or a holy roller. That's ok. I've been called worse things. I'm a lawyer. And Southern Baptist. Do you think I haven't heard it before?!

I like you guys. If I didn't, I wouldn't post on your trip reports, and if I didn't, I wouldn't have come back to make sure Mel and Sheridac and now Horsegirl didn't walk around thinking they'd hurt my feelings. No one has hurt my feelings. We just have different boundaries for what we're comfortable joking about. I respect your boundaries and hopefully you'll respect mine. To wit: joking about me being with any woman other than my wife is not funny to me. I don't for a minute think any one of you meant any disrespect, nor do I think there was any genuine desire behind it. I took it as sheer joking. On the other hand, I have a duty to defend my wife's honor and, in my mind, when people start joking about me being unfaithful, that disrespects her, too. Even if it's just a joke, I can't allow her reputation to be sullied.

I'm confident no one meant to disrespect my wife. But when I read that Zzub had spent the day in several different womens' homes, I tried to find an easy-going way to say, "my marriage is off limits for general amusement." I wasn't offended; I just didn't think it was funny and didn't want to be included in that discussion. I reckon now I could have been more clear but to do so ran the risk of seeming judgmental and harsh. I recognize I run that risk even now. It's not my intent to tell you what you can't joke about. You're all adults. It's my intent to ask you to not include me in that line of joking.

Most of the time y'all make me laugh. Many times, you bless me. Don't think for a minute we didn't appreciate the prayers, kind thoughts and cyber hugs y'all passed along when we lost our baby. Heck, even Lil Grumpy has promised to ring the bell on the surrey bike for my kid. Don't think I didn't sincerely appreciate every person who posted encouraging words over the several months it took for me to complete my Trip Report.

Like I said last week, I'll be back from time to time. I don't know any of you in real life, but I'd miss you like crazy if we never communicated again. If I don't post as often over here it's simply because time has narrowed for me and I'm limited in where I can read and post. If things are "hot" over here, then you'll find me on the Trip Report Board.

Because I can't think of any more clear way to tell y'all that I like you guys and care about each one of you.

..ok just a quickie today as i got things to do! ppp or is it p.p.? anyways,
other then adding a few extra "spices"..i couldn't have said it better
myself! you're one terrfic trans/lady! thank you for giving my lil story

you are one important lady! p.s. after you told a lil bout your family
situation, i really got so much more from your trip reports. that is, i
was able to recall some of the important experiences from the things
my children kept talking bout instead of brushing them off! thanks!

ohhh, i didn't pick up the reference on "straps" to sandals..dwats,
i almost got all tied up on that one.....good thing the tag fairy missed
that one! however, since tyhis was brought up...i was going add this
to my trip report but i'll include here..at the end of mgm day, i noticed
something wrong with my new [designer] sandals....they have separated
from the soles.. i was really flippin/floppin all over the place..and not by
choice. lucky for me , i [well my wife did] brought an extra pair..but
for the rest of the day, it was a royal pain! [remember, i'm the packy mule]
* i don't know why but to me, "mule"..is just afunny word..and it's one that
when i ant to "debate" with my wife..can guarenteed a strong reaction..
like , hey muley,,,where you put my underwear & socks? ohh, sorry for
wandering.......malfunctioning shoes made me appricated the extra
bathyroom breaks by my wife..& sititng on a bench i was pondering how
i "walked" during the day...typical park routine....outtabed =bouncy ,
park enterance = moonwalkin, after that = racing,kogging/jogging,
skippin up to appox. 10 am then = fast pacin,power walkin til noon=
down gradin to a casual walkin=my daily walk by 3pm, then come
trampin into dragging, oh, my lil doggies [when i first noticing the
importance of comfort shoes]... i start lookin/eyeing those lil scooters
for ....my personal use! but for some strange reson. i believe they would
fight like -ell cats before givi up? ok, i'm in the medical field....and some
i seen ...esp..parkin/gettin up..doing rnr should not being takin advantange
of those really needin them....sorry! anyway, that bascially the way
i do the parks...one step at a time!

speakin of bathrooms...which one of you took pics of every single
bathroom?!...besidesthankin you..[useful info]....i'm surprised you didnt
capture me outside poutin or holerin.."if you don't hurry, we're going
to miss all the good..[pick your noun]. anyway, see why us missin
fanstamic was a disppointment..i wassoo lookin toward sittin!!!!

i wish posters wouldn't entitled any thread "ladies only".....ok,
i can't help peekin & always regrettin ..somethingy is best left
for the imagination...spekin of..pp..boy if i was 10 years younger, i'll
be , thank goodness this is a fast movin thread...co that's a
